atom-bergstrom-sunAtom Bergstrom, born Gosta Ingvar Bergstrom, Jr, is credited as the founder of Sun Sync and the leading expert on a Sun-Centric lifestyle.

Atom’s journey towards health, nutrition, longevity, and meditation goes back to 1955, when he first started reading books by D.C. Jarvis, J.I. Rodale, Carlton Fredericks, Adelle Davis, Aldous Huxley, Paramahansa Yogananda, Swami Prabhavananda, and numerous others. His exposure to the above mentioned authors instigated a deep desire and passion to understand and unlock the secrets to optimal human wellness and longevity.

Atom was inspired by the words of Thomas Jefferson: “School teaches all of the branches, but none of the roots.” He sought the answers to his questions, not in classrooms, but in books, relationships, and life experiences. His quest for true knowledge and wisdom began by studying in hundreds of libraries across the country and evolved by studying with teachers and masters including Swami Adano Ley, Sufi Adnan Sarhan, Rabbi Michael Shapiro, Taoist Master Yun Xiang Tseng, and Fitness Icon Gypsy Boots.

His most significant teacher was Swami Adano Ley with whom he spent 14 years. During this time, he studied a variety of sciences extensively, including the sun centric lifestyle, and ultimately graduated from Adano Ley’s Texas Institute of Reflex Sciences. The knowledge and wisdom he gained studying under a highly evolved swami combined with his emphasis on scientific research & personal experience would soon become the heartbeat of Sun Sync Nutrition.

For the past 40 years, Atom has dedicated his life to the continuous learning and teaching of Sun Sync Nutrition, Time Conscious Eating, Cosmo-Chemistry, Reflexology, Muscle Response Testing, Body Language Analysis, Iris Analysis, Lucid Dreaming, Meditation and many other sciences.

Show Highlights:

-Symptoms of yellow fat disease

-A surprising solution to disappear liver spots

-The body doesn’t lie; observing how the body reacts to problems and relationships

-If you get to a certain age you die of brown atrophy of the heart; is there a way to prevent it?

-Atom elaborates on what NOT to feed to animals

-The potato is a complete protein when paired with mushrooms

-The best foods to eat at night

-After lunch, sit and hour; after dinner, walk an hour

-Atom explains why skipping breakfast is detrimental to the health

-How taking too many minerals can be aging

-Question from a listener:What does Atom think about a slight mixture of foods from different times eaten when those times are in transition-like eating tomato sauce with onions and garlic, on brown rice pasta around 6:30pm…

-Question from a listener:You have gone through the basic colors and their respective emotional traumas. Please let us know about some off colors such as maroon, turquoise, beige,,,and magenta. Also,,what is the difference between true colors and pastels such as purple and violet or royal blue and powder blue.

-Question from a listener:What does Atom have to say about plant-based omega-3s sourced from algae, such as athttp://www.source-omega.com?It seems that the EPA and especially the DHA oils are important for health since they are highly concentrated in the brain. In fact, Dr. Barry Sears has used high-dose omega-3s to effect recovery of physical trauma victims, including a mining accident case where Randal McCloy was practically one breath away from death. Robert Scott Bell interviewed him here:http://tiny.cc/omega3talk A similar more recent incident was JJ Virgin’s 16-year old son Grant who was severely injured when struck by a car. Doctors advised to just let him go, but with high-dose fish oil he recovered:http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/18/health/fish-oil-recovery

-Question from a listener:What is a cherry angioma, and how can I get rid of them ?

-Questions from a listener on fish liver oils:
1)Do the studies you mentioned control for toxicities that may be present in some fish? I know the population at large may be eating more fish oils, but most of them are purchased at places like Wal-Mart, etc. where the purity is highly questionable. Wouldn’t the purity make a lot of the difference?
2)If you’re familiar with Weston Price’s use of fermented cod liver oil in healing cavities, bones and degenerative diseases…his results did not come about until he added it. Also, the centurians of Okinawa eat fish, often and seem to live very full and healthy lives. If fish/fish liver is no good, how are these miraculous results explained?

-Question from a listener: Isn’t astaxanthin comparable to vitamin e as a fat soluble antioxidant? Could we use this as well to mitigate yellow fat disease?

-Question from a listener:Does Atom advise not eating the white inner membrane in bell peppers (as he suggests not eating the inner white part of the tomato)?

and so much more!!

I love Atom, and would love to hear his response to this – http://fitness.mercola.com/sites/fitness/archive/2014/01/17/brown-fat-levels.aspx – which seems to be saying that brown fat is GOOD!!!

If Dr Jack Kruse is matter, Atom Bergstrom is antimatter.

    • March 13, 2016 @ 9:52 am Atom

At least I’m 100% behind Jack Kruse’s crusade against blue light. :)

Human beings age in the yellow-orange colors of lipofuscin and ceroid (Yellow Fat Disease), but they die in a final burst of blue light called “Death Fluorescence.”

The “blue burst” (DF) is a final “calcium wave” causing cellular acidosis and a visit from the Grim Reaper.

Anyone find a good full range Vitamin e source?

    • March 13, 2016 @ 10:22 am Atom

Please keep me posted about any suitable full-range sources of vitamin E too. :)

I’m seeking a natural source that doesn’t contain a toxic load of polyunsaturated fatty acids.

A vitamin E supplement should list the precise amounts of all four tocopherols (alpha, beta, gamma, and delta) on the label, and NOT contain any of the four tocotrienols — a pharmaceutical industry scam to negate the effectiveness of tocopherols.

The insider dirty secret is that tocopherols protect against ESTROGEN, not just DHA, EPA, and ALA.

All plants contain tocopherols (mostly in the seeds and fruits, and less in the leaves).

Tocotrienols are rare in Nature, something dear to the hearts of pharmaceutical company CEOs.

Thanks for this important information, Atom! I have a question i would love clarification on. Eggs are a good source of nutrition in my diet, but I am concerned about what the chickens are being fed. I have found chickens who are pastured a lot of the time, but still supplemented with organic grains. I have searched and searched and can’t find any eggs from chickens not fed grains. Do eggs contribute to yellow fat disease if the chickens eat grains, especially corn and soy, even if its organic?

  6. April 3, 2016 @ 9:53 pm K. Rae

Yeah Atom is right about the Okinawa people not eating much fish. In fact, they only eat meat a few times per month. All the “Blue Zone” people (places where the people live the longest) hardly ate meat. About 1x per week for most of the places and hardly at all for those in Loma Linda, CA. I’m reading Weston Price’s book and several of the peoples he visited that were indiginous and in great health did not eat a lot of meat (switzerland, etc).

I have a question. I am trying to follow Ramiel Nagel’s advice to heal dental issues so I am not eating fruit. (And also I live in the north and there is no ripe fruit available – it is all picked green and shipped across the world to here so it doesn’t have good nutrition being picked green and shipped, etc). Thus, what carbs can I eat in the morning? I am already not thrilled that the only food i can really eat in the morning is avocado cuz those are picked unripe and shipped to me too, so they probably don’t have enough vitmain e to balance the pufas already! i need more morning options! I don’t do nuts either (they are moldy and get stuck in my teeth and not digestible/phytic acid, etc – See Dr. Hulda Clark’s book The Cure for All Diseases about the moldiness of nuts). I can’t find fresh olives. I do olive oil and coconut oil. and dairy is great for me (i’m part of an organic cow herd share and get raw milk products fresh the day the cow is milked). I do very few grains. Quinoa if soaked sprouted and lacto fermented seems to go down ok.

Does Atom think that spring water is a good choice over distilled?

Did I ask this already or was I just thinking about it: Where can I find eggs that are from chickens fed an appropriate diet? The best I can find around here is chickens that are pastured a lot of the time but supplemented with organic grains. Are eggs from chickens that are fed some organic grains still having too much PUFA?

Wheat grasses and some other grasses and small greens grow under 4 inches from the ground. Why are these zone 2 foods?

I guess I am just getting all my questions in at one time – lol…. Here’s another: I have been eating a lot of butternut squash. Could I be getting too much betacarotene or does this type of squash just have the vitamin A I need?

I can’t find a vitamin E supplement that looks healthy either. I am just trying to eat a lot of foods high in vitamin e like leafy greens. What do you think of leafy greens, Atom?

My number is 37 and I see it all the time with amazing coincidences. it lets me know that I am headed the right way. The coincidences with this show and your books, Atom, have been astonishing with 37. This was recorded on 3/7. Adano Ley’s Sonic Colonic is 37 mninutes long. Ya’ll talk about how crude oil is $37 a barrel… Then I was looking at Atom’s books and the first one I saw i wanted was 237 pages (2 is frequently joined with my 37 and its a good sign of a joining). But then I saw Yes No Maybe and really wanted it most and it turns out it has 273 pages. Great coincidences! Thanks for all the signs.

I just ordered “Yes, No, Maybe” from Amazon.com and am really excited to get it. I tried to get a membership to SunSync but pay pal won’t work with my card. I sent an email to ask for help. Pay pal has glitches as I have had this problem before. I am really eager to get your info on dental healing as I don’t want to be drilled, filled, and billed anymore.

Thanks for all your great info! At first I thought you might be totally crazy, Atom, but the more I listen the more I know you might actually be for real. Lol. People think I am nuts too. ha ha Wow – I just realized that Atom’s next show on ONe Radio Network is TOMORROW! :-)

Atom, I wish you were still in the business of running health food stores, as the food coop in my town is in shambles and we need a new experienced general manager to get the store back on track!

I eat cucumbers but now am confused about the issue with them and turning them clockwise – can you provide a link so I can read about this more because I still don’t understand and want to have healthy food. Thanks! help my cucumbers and me! :-)

It may be hard to believe, but fruit sugar prevents cavities and gum disease — as long as the thyroid is functioning well.

It’s been known for over a hundred years that the thyroid plays a major part in protecting the teeth.

I prefer distilled water, but I don’t drink it plain.

I’m currently eating eggs from chickens fed a semi-appropriate diet.

Just do your best to avoid chickens fed flax seed oil. :(

Adult wheatgrass is taller than four inches.

Excess beta-carotene is a problem for folks with a low thyroid, diabetes, cancer, etc.

Young plants tend to have more actual vitamin A and less carotene.

Leafy greens are OK. They’re probably overrated, and some are better cooked than raw.

      37 (3 + 7 = 10) is a prosperity number too! :) :) :)

Clockwise is the best way to “sweeten” a cucumber, but up and down will do too …
