Atom Bergstrom, born Gosta Ingvar Bergstrom, Jr, is credited as the founder of Sun Sync and the leading expert on a Sun-Centric lifestyle.
Atom’s journey towards health, nutrition, longevity, and meditation goes back to 1955, when he first started reading books by D.C. Jarvis, J.I. Rodale, Carlton Fredericks, Adelle Davis, Aldous Huxley, Paramahansa Yogananda, Swami Prabhavananda, and numerous others. His exposure to the above mentioned authors instigated a deep desire and passion to understand and unlock the secrets to optimal human wellness and longevity.
Atom was inspired by the words of Thomas Jefferson: “School teaches all of the branches, but none of the roots.†He sought the answers to his questions, not in classrooms, but in books, relationships, and life experiences. His quest for true knowledge and wisdom began by studying in hundreds of libraries across the country and evolved by studying with teachers and masters including Swami Adano Ley, Sufi Adnan Sarhan, Rabbi Michael Shapiro, Taoist Master Yun Xiang Tseng, and Fitness Icon Gypsy Boots.
His most significant teacher was Swami Adano Ley with whom he spent 14 years. During this time, he studied a variety of sciences extensively, including the sun centric lifestyle, and ultimately graduated from Adano Ley’s Texas Institute of Reflex Sciences. The knowledge and wisdom he gained studying under a highly evolved swami combined with his emphasis on scientific research & personal experience would soon become the heartbeat of Sun Sync Nutrition.
For the past 40 years, Atom has dedicated his life to the continuous learning and teaching of Sun Sync Nutrition, Time Conscious Eating, Cosmo-Chemistry, Reflexology, Muscle Response Testing, Body Language Analysis, Iris Analysis, Lucid Dreaming, Meditation and many other sciences.

Potato Protein Soup (according to Ray Peat)
Peel potatoes.
Juice them into juice-starch.
Let the starch settle to the bottom.
Ladle out the juice, leaving the starch behind.
Dump the starch.
The juice contains potato ketones that combine with the body’s own ammonia to create a superior protein.
Add salt to taste.
Cook for at least 45 minutes in a non-reactive pot, stirring and adding water as needed.
Keep stirring so the potato protein doesn’t stick to the pot.
Cooking detoxifies any potato starch residue.

Re: What about cooking Potato Protein Soup in Flagstaff, Arizona, at 7,000-7,500-feet altitude?
Add 5 or 10 minutes to the cooking time.
DO NOT increase the temperature.

for Kidney patients, what about the potassium in potatoes? I have a brother that had a kidney transplant and he’s been told not to allow his potassium to get too high, so he limits potatoes.
November 16, 2017 @ 2:51 pm Atom
Yes, kidneys can get to a stage where they back up with potassium and magnesium, which then act as potent toxins.
Usually this stage is primarily caused by elevated phosphate (meat and grains), lipid fractions (organ meats), serotonin (foods high in L-tryptophan), and/or lactate (fermented foods, some more than others).
(Some kidney dialysis docs haven’t got the memo to switch from a lactate base to bicarbonate.)
Heartburn medications are highly toxic to the kidneys. So are NSAIDs.
But if potassium IS backing up, then a triple-boiled potato removes most of it …
Slice a potato into small pieces, and bring them to a boil in water.
Add new water, and repeat the process two more times.
After throwing away the water three times, boil, bake, or roast the potato.
This may be too big a hassle for most people.

Atom. what are your thoughts on sun gazing? I’ve been doing it on and off for a few years. I never have to wear sun glasses, sun gazing or not, and my vision seems to get better when I sun gaze. I try to do it in my bare feet during the warmer months. Thanks.

I don’t wear sunglasses, but I also don’t sun gaze because there are too many long-term ultraviolet and blue light side effects — pterygium, cataract, solar retinopathy, etc.
I’ve seen my share of pterygia (surfer’s eye) because I’ve lived by the beach for several decades.

Thank you, I will research pterygia. The only time I had a problem sun gazing was when there were chemtrails in the sky. They seemed to make the sun much more intense, even though they partially blocked it. I had a green spot (like from a flash bulb) in the center of my vision for a few days after that, which disappeared completely after about 3 weeks. I was left with a very very tiny spot in the center of my vision where I can’t detect color, only shades of gray, i.e. a car tail light at a very great distance will look white. I think this will also heal in time, and I never sun gaze through chemtrails anymore!

It’s interesting that “color blind” people can sometimes see the full spectrum of color “under” hypnosis.
Imagine what could be accomplished “over” hypnosis!
November 9, 2017 @ 8:52 pm Michael
You remind me of the story told in Michael Talbot’s book “The Holographic Universe” where a man placed under hypnosis and told that his daughter was not in the room (while she was standing right in front of him), was able to see and read things right through her as if she was transparent. I guess even if our sensory organs are not working as they should, we can still tune into the information all around us. When you say “over” hypnosis, do you refer to the ability to enter that state of mind at will?

Re: Where did my last comment go?
Here it is. :) :) :)
Yes, I’ve written entire series of blog entries about Mesmerism at our Sun Sync website.
There are MANY recorded cases of seeing through objects and people, and seeing at great distances too.
Yes, auto-hypnosis and auto-Mesmerism are by far the safest way to change worldviews and explore new paradigms.
Otherwise, once hypnotized, the hypnotist and his/her subject are joined together for life (at least according to Milton H. Erickson).

Regarding STROKE, Ray Peat (transcribed from “Nervous System Protect & Restore,” YouTube) said …
“In a nutrition class, in the late 70s, I described the way metabolically produced carbon dioxide opens blood vessels in the brain, and mentioned that carbonated water, or ‘soda water,’ should improve circulation to the brain when the brain’s production of carbon dioxide wasn’t adequate. A week later, a student said she had gone home that night and (interpreting soda water as bicarbonate of soda in water) given her stroke-paralyzed mother a glass of water with a spoonful of baking soda in it. Her mother had been hemiplegic for 6 months following a stroke, but 15 minutes after drinking the bicarbonate, the paralysis lifted, and she remained normal. Later, a man who had stroke-like symptoms when he drank alcohol late at night, found that drinking a glass of carbonated water caused the symptoms to stop within a few minutes.”

I can’t vouch for the above, but if it IS true, it’s another example of the KISS (keep it simple, surgeon) Principle in action.

Atom, that story does make sense. A friend of mine wrote a natural health book, and through his research came to the conclusion that “plaques” in the body are calcification causes by fungus. Fungus hates baking soda (see Dr. Simoncini curing cancer with it), so I can see how it would dissolve a stroke plaque, or “clot” as they like to call them, in the brain. This also goes for plaque in arteries, on the skin in the form of psoriasis, etc.
November 9, 2017 @ 1:39 pm Atom
Baking soda kills as many people experiencing cancer as it cures.
Cancer ~grows~ in an acidic state, and ~spreads~ in an alkaline one.
(That’s why Dr. Simoncini admits to poor outcomes in advanced metastatic states of cancer.)
High-level wellness and radical longevity is the razor’s edge between acid and alkaline balance …
heterotropic and homotropic equilibrium

Thank you. I will send your comment to my friend to see if he knows about that.
