Try some raw honey on that wasp sting (or whatever it was). When I was stung by a wasp, I couldn’t even think for about two minutes because it hurt so much. I had just recently thrown out all my chemical remedies and the only thing I could think of to relieve it was raw honey. After applying the honey, the pain started to subside immediately. After about five minutes, it was almost completely gone. It was like a distant memory and bothered me only a little bit if I thought about it.

Never underestimate the power of SWEET.
I cut this out of a newsletter in the 1990s …
“Here’s one of the simplest, and best, methods of healing wounds.
“Clean the wound and cover it with a 1/4-inch layer of table sugar. Then wrap it to keep it clean. Repeat if bandage gets wet.
“Sugar works in three ways. It kills all the bacteria in and around the wound, it reduces local swelling, and it improves the supply of blood to the area. In my opinion, table sugar is the best topical antibiotic ointment the world will ever have.”
And according to an internet comment by Tara …
“There are studies about sugar being used for healing diabetic leg ulcers, and for difficult infections in chest cavities post surgery. There has been some work done on producing convenient high concentration sugar gels for convenient use on serious wounds.
“Honey has a long record of use on wounds.
“The sugar concentration has to be very high to be useful — can’t remember exactly, but IIRC it was something like 80 or 90%+. Higher than you get in a saturated sugar-water solution.”
And according to another internet comment by Calamity Jane …
“My Aunt had a leg ulcer that defied conventional treatment for 2 yrs. She was facing amputation. Her Dr told her try white sugar as a last resort. It was healed in weeks.”
And according to Ray Peat …
“Applying glucose and insulin topically to the wound, it heals quickly. The very old practice of treating deep wounds with honey or granulated sugar has been studied in controlled situations, including the treatment of diabetic ulcers, infected deep wounds following heart surgery, and wounds of lepers. The treatment eradicates bacterial infections better than some antiseptics, and accelerates healing without scarring, or with minimal scarring. The sugar regulates the communication between cells, and optimizes the synthesis of collagen and extracellular matrix.”
