Re: Would you consider writing an article defining more of the rudiments of psychic defense?
Most psychic attacks are unconscious aggressions.
The “attacker” doesn’t even know what he’s doing.
Passive-aggressive people are especially disposed to this.
Conversely, passive-aggressive people are more prone to psychic attack.
Many people are unconscious warlocks and witches (to use agrarian terminology).
Insights about unconscious psychic attacks can be found in unexpected places.
For example, Oswald Spengler (The Decline of the West, Vol. One: Form and Actuality, 1926) wrote …
“To bind, to bridle, to placate, to ‘know’ are all, in the last analysis, the same thing. In the mysticism of all primitive periods, to KNOW GOD means to conjure him, to make him favorable, to APPROPRIATE him inwardly. This is achieved, principally, by means of a word, the Name – the ‘nomen’ which designates and CALLS UP the ‘numen’ – and also by ritual practices of secret potency; and the subtlest, as well as the most powerful, form of this defense is causal and systematic knowledge, delimitation by label and number. In this respect man only becomes wholly man when he has acquired LANGUAGE. When cognition has ripened to the point of words, the original chaos of IMPRESSIONS necessarily transforms itself into a ‘Nature’ that has laws and MUST obey them, and the world-in-itself becomes a world-for-us.”
(I converted Spengler’s italics to capital letters.)
Intellectual people are most susceptible to psychic attack.
Carl Jung wrote …
“One can regard one’s stomach or heart as unimportant and worthy of contempt, but that does not prevent overeating or overexertion from having consequences that affect the whole man. Yet we think that psychic mistakes and their consequences can be got rid of with mere words, for ‘psychic’ means less than air to most people.”
Psychic attacks are always (99% of the time) unconscious agreements between predator and prey.
Surrounding oneself with the color INDIGO makes one more aware of these subliminal contracts.
Most psychic attacks are “delivered” by barometric pressure, although initiated by thought, prayer, color, or geometry.
Church members prayed that a friend of mine would be injured so one of their congregation could take his place on the football field.
Years later, my friend still has a back problem from his football injury.
Only a blank mind is immune (99% of the time) to psychic attack.
“Protective energy fields” are less effective than delta brain waves.
Anyone who subscribes to the dominant paradigm is vulnerable to continuous psychic attacks.
Don Juan Matus told Carlos Castaneda …
“There are no more dreams for man but the dreams of an animal who is being raised to become a piece of meat: trite, conventional, imbecilic.”
SUBVERT THE DOMINANT PARADIGM.

hi atom,
good stuff, i agree, in order to become vulnerable to an attack from outside, one has to let some negative thought energy penetrate in. If one is vigilant, one will not let it in and the psychic attack does not “stick” in.
if the above is true, then one can go further and ask, is the predator and pray of psychic attack phenomena in 90% cases one and the same person?

It’s actuality versus reality – the unified field versus relativity. :)
Swami Nitty-Gritty said …
“It’s ‘Love thy neighbor AS yourself.’ It’s not, ‘Love thy neighbor LIKE yourself.’ Your neighbor IS yourself.”
He also put it, “Am I me or dat jerk over dere?”
Renu Lal Singh (Right Life: Teachings of the Shivapuri Baba, 1975, 1984) wrote …
“Albert Einstein saw him in Switzerland while he was a young student of mathematics. Shri Shivapuri Baba challenged the proposition 1 + 1 = 2. Einstein at once became contemplative but could not follow him. So far as I remember and understand, Shri Shivapuri Baba told Einstein, ‘Absolutely speaking, only God exists, so the question of adding one thing to another cannot be entertained. Relatively speaking, no two things or beings are exactly alike. So, to say 1 + 1 = 2 is convenient but not correct.'”
