The surest way to drop blood pressure is to yawn and stretch as much as possible.
Yawning and stretching simultaneously is called pandiculation.
Twisting your neck, wrists, elbows, shoulders, ankles, knees, and hips simultaneously while yawning is therapeutic pandiculation.
Blood pressure is controlled by pneumatics (air pressure), not hydraulics (blood pressure), as any capable Yogi or plumber can tell you.
Air pressure regulates blood pressure, not the other way around.
Sticking out the tongue is another way to drop blood pressure.
Drawing the tongue back as far as possible works too, especially when alternated with tongue extension.
Tongue Yoga is not taught in most Yoga workshops.
Tongue Yoga frees up the thyroid gland and the “nose brain” (rhinencephalon).
Panting with the tongue out can also drop blood pressure.
Ditto alternate nostril breathing, a Yoga technique Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) called “therapeutic breathing.”

Torque plus repetition raises blood pressure.
“Concentration” exercises (e.g., concentration curls) raise blood pressure.
My Sufi teacher, Adnan Sarhan, said, “There’s no one-two, one-two, in Sufi.”
It’s important to experience at least some of our life without structure or stricture.

Hi Atom,
why does the tongue turn white after a few days on a juice fast ?
December 6, 2013 @ 12:25 am atomb
It’s acidic residue from “fasting.” Sometimes people wake up in the morning with a whitish tongue.
A chronically white tongue indicates acidity or hyper-acidity.
A chronically red tongue indicates alkalinity or hyper-alkalinity.
Some people run more acidic or alkaline than others, and remain healthy.

Is it also metals (aluminium) and/or lime coming out ?
December 7, 2013 @ 1:32 am atomb
No. You can eliminate both aluminum and lime with apple cider vinegar (malic acid).
Apple cider vinegar is “on time” half of the day, from noon to midnight.

We’re having a fun time in New Zealand, staying on a 162-acre farm in the “winterless far north.”
One of our hosts is a world-class chef, graduating at the top of her Culinary Institute class.
GMO foods are not a problem in New Zealand yet.
All the fruits and vegetables are delicious and juicy.
The golden kiwis are YUMMY. :)

Nighttime shift work is a carcinogen.
The body’s melatonin – not a melatonin supplement – is the remedy.
One in 15 workers in the U.S. are on a nighttime shift.
Eat on time if you can’t sleep on time. :)

Hi Atom,
my friend says he ate tomatoes each day he was in the sun and it protected him from sunburn, is this true ?
December 7, 2013 @ 4:06 am atomb
Always respect the Sun for the damage it can do, but, yes, the lycopene in tomatoes, esp. cooked tomatoes, offers protection from solar radiation.
