Re: Can certain herbs minimize the effects of chemotherapy?
Yes, No, Maybe.
The most crucial variable is whether the LOCAL LESION is in its anabolic growth stage – acidifying the cancer – or if the IMMUNE SYSTEM is in its catabolic defense stage – alkalinizing the cancer.
Without a (1) total titrimetric acid-base profile and a (2) pH measurement of the local lesion, an optimum strategy is to eat a BALANCED and VARIABLE diet in a TIME-APPROPRIATE (circadian) protocol – Solar Nutrition, Chronobiotic Nutrition, Metamorphic Nutrition, Sun Time Eating, Midnight-Noon Law Meridian Synchronization, etc.
A total titrimetric acid-base profile involves 7 parameters …
(1) total blood potassium,
(2) intracellular potassium (a cancer cell can store over 60% more potassium than a normal cell),
(3) extracellular (serum) potassium,
(4) urine pH,
(5) nasal or oral pH,
(6) urine specific gravity, and
(7) urine surface tension.
Acid-base dysfunction takes place at the level of the LOCAL LESION, and is hard to measure globally because of the body’s effective buffering system – until it’s compromised by later stages of growth or metastasis.
Local lesion pH can be measured with a pH meter – a glass electrode probe connected to an electronic meter.
The first pH meter was invented by Caltech professor Arnold Orville Beckman (1900-2004) in 1935, the same year he founded Beckman Instruments, Inc.
Emanuel Revici, M.D. (1896-1998), used a pH meter to measure local lesion pH as part of his Guided Chemotherapy program – involving NO patented drugs – at his Trafalgar Hospital in Manhattan from 1955-1978.
Dr. Revici had his medical license revoked by the Powers That Be because he refused to play the PATENT GAME – Big Pharma’s new molecular entity (NME) trademark scam.

Re: they say no megadoses of antioxidants because it interferes with chemo effectively attacking cells.
Chemotherapy promotes ALKALINE oxidation and free radical proliferation.
Ditto radiation therapy.
Cancer itself is an ACIDIC antioxidant entity.
Ask for chemo’s KILL-TIME WINDOW, and resume antioxidants as soon as the chemo TIMES OUT.
Cancer GROWS in an acidic antioxidant environment, and SPREADS in an alkaline oxidant one.
One of the most potent antioxidants on the planet is MELATONIN, and it SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCES CHEMO DEATHS.
Melatonin does not undergo REDOX CYCLING like vitamin C – the reason megadoses of vitamin C generate oxidant reactions instead of antioxidant ones.
Nighttime is MELATONIN TIME, and exposure to light destroys melatonin (50 percent in 39 minutes, according to one study), and can inhibit its absorption (photorefractoriness).
Hey, if I had a permanent base of operations – and wasn’t subjected to doing my research in stolen minutes of time – IMAGINE how much of a no-BS database and viable support system I could single-handedly provide for victims of both (1) cancer and (2) its “cures.”
And IMAGINE if I had an assistant or two.
But no grants or financial help are available to cancer treatment alternatives that aren’t PATENTABLE and obscenely profitable … YET.
To quote David Icke, “It Doesn’t Have To Be Like This.” :)

Re: Is it true that I should not take antioxidants?
That’s only partially true.
What’s the killing time-window (the time period chemo actively kills cancer cells)?
24 hours? 48 hours? 72 hours? 1 week? 2 weeks? (I seriously doubt it’s measured in “weeks.”)
If you’re doing combination chemo, you should ask if your treatment generally results in …
(1) a 1-log kill (90% of the cancer cells are destroyed),
(2) a 2-log kill (99% of the cancer cells are destroyed), or
(3) a 3-log kill (99.9% of the cancer cells are destroyed).

Re: What about allergic reactions to chemotherapy?
5 to 10 percent of adverse reactions to chemo involve igE type 1 hypersensitivity – the same HUMORAL antibody defense used against parasites, esp. worms, and cashews and peanuts.
HUMORAL defenses to proteins involve the Second Period of the Periodic Table of the Elements (NITROGEN) and the Third Period (PHOSPHORUS and SULFUR).
Niacin and ascorbic acid ~MAY~ help.
