Cancer As a Continuum

According to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center’s “Reviews of Therapies” website …

“Some of his [Revici’s] findings predate ideas that are now widely accepted. According to Professor [Mark] Noble, Revici described leukotrienes and their crucial role in inflammation 20 years or more before they were described in the literature. Typically, he saw these compounds as a small part of a much larger picture. He subsequently described the important role of bioactive lipids in the early stages of cellular and systemic host defense processes, deducing that intervention by lipids at this level might drastically alter outcome.”

Emanuel Revici remains one of the few medical doctors in the world who identified cancer as a CONTINUUM with a polycentric origin.

“Holistic” medicine does no better than mainstream medicine, assigning SINGLE CAUSES to plural, hierarchic, and systemic processes.

Single causes include acidity, viruses, flukes, fungi, iron, nickel, lead, fluoride, DNA damage, sucrose, fructose, vitamin D deficiency, estrogen, progestin, GMO foods, nitrosamines, tobacco smoke, nanoparticles, dioxin, benzene, asbestos, glyphosate, vinyl chloride, 5G, radon, UV radiation, ionizing radiation, etc.

According to Charles Frederick Menninger, M.D. (1862-1953) …

“Great mistakes are often made, even by men of culture, in fixing upon supposed causes of disease in particular cases. A single event is selected as in itself effective to explain the whole disaster, when that event alone was merely one of a whole train of causes.”

Andrea Sankar (“‘It’s Just Old Age’: Old Age as a Diagnosis in American and Chinese Medicine,” Age and Anthropological Theory (edited by David I. Kertzer & Jennie Keith), 1984) wrote …

“In the late nineteenth century, Western medicine underwent a revolution of sorts as it moved to establish itself as a rigorous scientific discipline governed by stringent rules of evidence, predictability, and replication. The notion of specific etiology which has since been characterized as the ‘germ theory’ or ‘golden bullet approach’ was introduced by Rudolf Virchow in the latter third of the nineteenth century. This theory established the premise that a single specific agent could be identified as the cause of each specific disease.”

It’s fasting if you’re for it. It’s starvation if you’re against it.

Extended fasting or starvation produces so much estrogen that men are able to lactate.

Joseph Coats, M.D. (A Manuel of Pathology, Fourth Edition, 1900) wrote …

“Congenital malformations of the liver are not common. There are cases of absence of the liver, and of defect of one of the lobes or irregularity in the lobes. What may be called supernumerary livers have also been found in the form of isolated pieces of liver in the suspensory ligament. Of more importance is congenital absence of the gall bladder, along with which there is usually a dilatation of the bile ducts.”

Samuel Goodwin Gant, M.D. (Diseases of the Rectum and Anus, Third Edition, 1906) wrote …

“Entire Absence of the Coccyx is a rare form of congenital deformity. The author has seen but two cases, and both of these in men who consulted him for relief from some other painful affection of the anus. Both were congenital, and did not interfere in any way with the functions of the anus, rectum, or bladder. Indeed, they did not cause any disturbance of sufficient importance to attract attention to these parts. The place of the bone was filled by dense fascia, with which the ligaments and muscles usually attached to the coccyx appeared to be continuous.”

“On Christmas Eve 1977 a forty-year-old resident of Kyoto was admitted to a hospital after being poisoned by fugu [puffer fish]. The patient soon stopped breathing, and all symptoms were consistent with brain death. Physicians immediately initiated artificial respiration and other appropriate treatments. These did not help, but twenty-four hours later the patient spontaneously began to breathe. He eventually recovered completely, and later remembered hearing his family weeping over his still body. His senses were unimpaired. He wanted desperately to let them know that he was alive, but he was unable to. ‘That,’ he later told medical investigators, ‘was really hell-on-earth.’”

James Joseph Louis Ratton, M.D. (Hand-book of Common Salt, 1877) wrote …

“In the mouth, salt acts as a stimulant to the gustatory nerves and causes an increased flow of saliva which flow, has an important action in promoting the digestion of food. In the stomach, it appears that a portion of the salt is decomposed into hydrochloric acid and some soluble sodium salt. The former is set free to perform the important office of stomach digestion and the latter is absorbed to maintain the alkalinity of the blood and preserve that balance of density in the fluids of the body, which prevents abnormal manifestations, of endosmose and exosmose. Another part of the salt ingested, is absorbed as sodium chloride, and appears as such in the blood and various secretions of the body. Salt serves as a reservoir of sodium and of chlorine in the system, 100 parts of the ash of the blood contains 54.7 parts of sodium chloride. It possibly has an antiseptic action on the tissues and without doubt it serves to prevent the lodgment of worms in the body. It is stated in Lord Somerville’s address to the Board of Agriculture, that the old laws of Holland ‘ordained men to be kept on bread alone, unmixed with salt, as the severest punishment that could be inflicted upon them in their moist climate; the effect was horrible: these wretched criminals are said to have been devoured by worms, engendered in their own stomachs.’ And Mr. Marshall mentions the case of a lady who had an incontrollable aversion to salt, and who was in consequence plagued with worms all her life.”
