Cleansing With Beets & Asparagus

Re: What do you think about the Mini-Beet Protocol?

Combining cinnamon, beets, asparagus, carrots, and apples are “out of time,” but that’s no problem for a “cleanse.”

I’ve seen this advertised as having “no side effects,” but, unfortunately, everything has side effects, even air and water.

<> CINNAMON <>

Don’t confuse cassia with cinnamon.

Most “cinnamon” sold in the U.S. is cassia (Chinese cinnamon), a potent blood-thinner.

Excess cassia is likely to “cleanse” the blood right out of you.

“True” cinnamon is Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), not Chinese cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) or Saigon cinnamon (Cinnamomum loureiroi).

Remember, cinnamon is a medicine, not a food. Only hungry humans eat Growth Zone 1 bark from evergreen trees

<> BEETS <>

Use organic beets.

Non-organic beets are nitrogen hoarders.

Ditto SuperBeets. Walk big circles around non-organic nitrogen hoarders.

Beets love salt (sodium chloride).

No matter how far inland these seaside Growth Zone 3 plants travel, they still crave their salt.

<> ASPARAGUS <>

Raw asparagus can “back up the heart,” according to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty).

Raw asparagus for an occasional “cleanse” shouldn’t be a problem.

Young raw asparagus shoots are only “slightly toxic,” according to various sources, including North Carolina State University.

It doesn’t take much cooking to detoxify young asparagus shoots — the Romans designated a short time by saying, “in the time it takes to cook asparagus.”

Asparagus, like beets, craves salt (sodium chloride).

It’s another Growth Zone 3 coastal plant that decided to immigrate to faraway inland places like Wisconsin.

Asparagus is an awesome source of sulfur …

1) dimethyl sulfide (DMS)

2) dimethyl disulfide (DMDS)

3) dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) !!!!! !!!!! !!!!!

4) methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) !!!!! !!!!! !!!!!

5) methanethiol (methyl mercaptan)

6) bis(methylthio)methane

These potent sulfur compounds cause stinky urine, breath, and feet, but high-level wellness won’t always smell like roses, jasmine, or Teen Spirit.

Combining asparagus with cinnamon or cassia is a savvy Yin-Yang idea.

YIN — Cinnamon and cassia are high in blood-thinning coumarin.

YANG — Asparagus is high in blood-clotting vitamin K.

<> CARROTS <>

Raw carrots are in the hemlock family, but no need to worry unless you turn orange with carotenosis (xanthaemia).

They aren’t toxic, but excess carrots or carrot juice CAN interfere with vitamin A absorption.

All things in moderation.

People with healthy livers don’t usually turn orange.

People who confine their Growth Zone 3 carrots and carrot juice to the evening don’t usually turn orange.

<> APPLES <>

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” (An onion keeps everyone away.)

Apples are a Growth Zone 1 fruit, and are high in the “three F’s” — fiber, flavonoids, and fructose.

Fructose in its natural state is NOT a poison, despite what a majority of “experts” are saying.

But high-fructose corn syrup? Bummer! Walk big circles around it!

<>

According to Adano …

1) Fresh apples are better for BONES.

2) Old, spongy, wrinkled apples are better for SKIN.

<> ALLOPATHY <>

Don’t let all this poison and toxin info scare you.

Everything we eat is a poison depending on the dose.

There are no magic elixirs — anything can cause anything, and anything can cure anything.

What is Allopathic Medicine?

It’s also called Heroic Medicine — treating a disease with “something other than the disease.”

Evidence-Based Medicine can be done with herbs as well as drugs.

It’s just a question of degree, not concept.

A man dancing with a gorgeous woman asked, “Would you go to bed with me for a million dollars?”

She thought about it a minute, and replied, “Yes.”

Then he asked, “Would you go to bed with me for fifty dollars?”

She exclaimed, “What do you think I am, a whore?”

He said, “We’ve already established the CONCEPT, now we’re just haggling about PRICE.”

Herbs? Drugs? The concept is the same.

<> HOMEOPATHY <>

What is Homeopathic Medicine?

It treats the disease with the disease itself — using “a thief to catch a thief” instead of “a policeman to catch a thief.”

<> BODY DOWSING <>

Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, was three miles north of the cheering section when it came to cleansing and detoxification.

He wrote (way back in 1810) …

“The most careful and prompt washing of the genitals does not protect the system from infection with the venereal chancrous disease.”

He also wrote (and this is where Body Dowsing enters Stage Left and Evidence-Based Medicine exits Stage Right) …

“How often has it happened that an irritating word has brought on a dangerous bilious fever; a superstitious prediction of death has caused the fatal catastrophe at the very time announced; the abrupt communication of sad or excessively joyful news has occasioned sudden death? In these cases, where is the material morbific principle that entered in substance into the body, there to produce and keep up the disease, and without the material expulsion and ejection of which a radical cure were impossible?”

Joy can kill? You bet your sweet bippy it can!

If I were a materialist instead of a spiritualist, I’d stand in line with the rest of the sheeple lauding so-called Evidence-Based Medicine.

    According to Swami Nitty-Gritty …

“When Saints and sinners die of the same disease, it tells me everything I thought I knew about health was wrong.”

William & Ellen Hartley (“Light and Your Health,” Popular Science, Feb. 1969) wrote …

“Chinchilla growers have found that under bluish light almost all offspring are female. Litters produced by animals under pink light are predominantly male.”
