SULFUR is one of the “3 most dangerous minerals” Swami Nitty-Gritty (Adano Ley) warned us about.
Sulfur rules the Second Chakra — the Gonadal Reproduction Chakra.
When sulfur is “tamed,” it regulates Energy acting on Matter.
Oxytocin (Chief Cuddle Chemical) and vasopressin (Assistant Cuddle Chemical) are sulfur-based for marital staying power — in more ways than one (*wink wink*).
Nitty-Gritty decreed, “It’s the Marital Martial Arts. Best thing going!”
He noted, “The sperm is silicon, the ovum is carbon, and pregnancy is sulfurization.”
The amino acid cysteine is rich in sulfur, and oxytocin and vasopressin are cysteine-based.
Love and pair bonding are antidiuretic. They make you pee less because oxytocin and vasopressin are antidiuretic (the latter more than the former).
Cysteine-rich foods facilitate pregnancy, especially those ideally eaten at Circulation-Sex Time (7:00-9:00 pm) like eggs, garlic, onions, and radishes.
The very origins of life on this planet may go back to iron/sulfur-based and magnesium/methane-based bacteria “seeded” here from outer space.

Hi Atom,
Eggs and garlic are know aphrodisiacs. And I do think being such they do not actually build the deep rooted inner energy of the second chakra but act as gate-openers promoting energy of the chakra, weak or strong, to find its release in form of love making. They act as a hormonal kick, a trigger to feel more sexually active.
A good and long lasting build up of sexual energy in my opinion is best build by emotional silence, good and adequate sleep, and … avoiding doing it to often. In a survey done for one danish newspaper, the only group responded to enjoy satisfactory sex life was people on unemployment benefits. Take an average person, make them take a 2 week break from work, without of stress of going travelling and building new garage, and their sex life will go though the roof.

Good advice.
SLACK is the best thing for sex, if you’re familiar with Ivan Stang’s Church of the SubGenius. :)

By the way, forgot to ask, why did Swami Nitty-Gritty call sulfur one of the “3 most dangerous” ? Is their some danger in sulfur? What did he mean by taming? Taiming is similar to constraining. Did Swami Nitty-Gritty feel the sexual energy was like an untamed wild horse, too jumpy, “too quick too soon” kind of thing? Please, tell us more :-)

Sulfur has many forms.
The sulfites in wine oppose the lungs … unless you know the time of the day to take them and what to take them with.
In the words of Nitty-Gritty, “Sulfur is not core to any vitamin. Sulfur makes you sulk — you feel you’re left out.”

Hi Atom,
Going off on a tangent now, but can you offer thoughts on improving appetite during 1st trimester? I am trying to eat the right things but most food seem unappealing.

Counterintuitively, pregnancy is the time to indulge cravings.
Eating foods “in time” is not critical during pregnancy.
The body “talks” to a pregnant woman. Listen to what it “says” and feel what it needs. :)
BUT … avoid such things as strong foods, strong herbs, strong spices, algae products, and especially pharmaceuticals (unless they are absolutely necessary).
When appetite is low, surround yourself with healthy foods to stimulate it.
One way to stimulate appetite is to watch cooking shows on TV. (I enjoy Alton Brown ’cause he blends cooking with science.)

You mention the dangers of sulphur. Robert Von’s mini beet protocol it seems is based on the amazing healing properties of the zinc sulphate in beets.
[If you don’t know it, one drinks a cup of (organic) beet juice with asparagus juice, follows it with some whole carrots, then whole apples (i have my apples in the morning). It can be found in the oneradionetwork archives.]
I imagine one would have it in the evening but is there a danger of sulking here or is the sulphATE a completely different animal than the sulphUR? If there’s a danger, how would one avoid it or compensate?

Beets, asparagus, carrots, and apples all combine between 12:30-1:00 am “sundial time.”
The best protection from the negative effects of sulfur is eating it “in time.”
“Tamed” sulfur (in the form of taurine) helps prevent cirrhosis of the liver.

half past noon until 1 in the morning or
half past midnight until 1 in the morning?
What you wrote appears to be the first but the second seems more likely to me.

Half past midnight to 1:00 am.
12:30-1:00 am is also Pina Colada Time — pineapple being a Zone 3 food and coconut a Zone 1 food. :)
