“Melt your fat away” handles a weight challenge via the Third Chakra – Pitta in Sanskrit.
Pitta means “to heat or burn.”
Pitta is the Way of the Calorie.
“Defrost your fat away” is your highest choice, treating a weight challenge via the Fourth Chakra – Vata in Sanskrit.
Vata means “wind.”
Vata is the Way of Pounds Per Square Inch.
Carbon dioxide is the villain, not the calorie.
A fat cell can expand as much as 1,000 times, but doctors never tell you what causes the expansion – gas pressurization.
Doctors correctly point out that weight distribution is a key factor of heart attacks in overweight people.
Carrying weight in the midsection (apple shape) makes a person more vulnerable to cardiac events than weight carried in the lower body (pear shape).
Yes, this theory has recently been challenged, and a pear shape can be dangerous too – depending on the body’s internal pressurization.
It’s simple physics that gas rises.
When it rises – in both apple- or pear-shaped people) it squeezes those garden hoses called blood vessels shut, and – presto! – instant heart attack with or without clogged arteries.
Doctors measure blood pressure in terms of hydraulics via the Second Chakra – Kapha in Sanskrit.
Kapha means “water.”
But hydraulics – as any plumber will tell you – is dependent on pneumatics.
High blood pressure is a respiratory challenge, not a circulatory problem.
Edema is also a respiratory challenge – gaseous pressure holds the fluid in place.
You can actually yawn – and fart – your high blood pressure away, just as you can yawn – and fart – your excess weight away.
If you add an “R” to the word “fat,” what have you got?

I once told a woman, “You have gas.”
She said she didn’t.
I asked if I could feel her abdomen.
It was distended and hard as a rock.
I commented, “You don’t understand the difference between HAVING gas and PASSING gas. They’re two entirely different things.”
Excess weight around the waist isn’t CAUSED by extra insulin secretion. It’s caused by gas pressurization, and the RESULT is extra insulin secretion.
By the way, dosha is often translated as “fault,” “impurity,” or “mistake,” but its physiological meaning is “that which changes.”

Vata, Pitta, and Kapha body types relate to morning, midday, and late afternoon.
Vata Time is from 6:00-11:00 a.m.
Pitta Time is from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Kapha Time is from 3:00-7:00 p.m.
Concerning anthropometric indices, I prefer the somatotypologies of William Sheldon (1898-1977) – ECTOMORPH, MESOMORPH, & ENDOMORPH – and Ernst Kretschmer (1888-1964) – ASTHENIC, ATHLETIC, & PYKNIC – over the Ayurvedic model.
Dr. Kretschmer cautioned, “Classification of borderline cases will never be exact.”

Re: Rice and beans/peas; what’s the missing ingredient that the one supplies to the other?
Lysine is the limiting amino acid in rice, and tryptophan and methionine are the limiting amino acids in beans.
This is now being “corrected” by genetic manipulation, and I’m not happy about this kind of DNA tampering. :(
