Do Toxic Engrams Dissolve?
Re: Atom, do people sometimes find a trauma dissolves when the source of the trauma dies?
I’ve seen it go both ways.
Mostly it goes in the opposite direction.
It’s called a Death Imprint, and I’ve seen it last for over fifty years.
<>
One woman in her eighties had become a Death Therapist (going so far as to study with Elisabeth Kübler-Ross) due to the death of her son when she was in her twenties.
<>
Another woman in her forties or so had a Death Imprint from her childhood from attending a grandparent’s funeral.
<>
When couples break up, it’s a lot lighter than death, but they demonstrate the principle.
When relationships go south, Cognitive Shocks can last for decades past the death of the source of the trauma.
<>
I met a chiropractor in the 1990s who had been divorced from his wife since the 1940s.
She frowned on him smoking his cigars, so he routinely stood in front of a black-and-white photo of her in a bathing suit to smoke his stogies.
His carpet was an eighth-of-an-inch deep in cigar ashes! The stubborn old coot refused to clean it.
<>
Then there was the exception to the rule.
I was Body Dowsing a client who always had a pressurized, traumatized left side: it had loosened completely.
“Wow! What happened?” I asked. “The pressure is completely gone on your left side.”
“Yep, it’s my boyfriend. I finally kicked the SOB out, and good riddance!”

We live in a state where cacao causes cancer and dental X-rays don’t. (It’s not Cacao-ifornia.)

According to Ray Peat …
“The medical Establishment has had its own reasons for following their theory of cancer, but it has been reinforced by the government biological warfare perspective, so they blended them together to say that everything is determined by the DNA, and don’t have to learn anything about biology and the chemistry of life itself.”

Arthur William Judge (Aircraft and Automobile Materials of Construction, Volume 2, 1921) wrote …
“The name linoxyn, or oil-rubber, is given to the oily material formed by the oxidation of linseed oil. It is sometimes used for so-called ‘artificial’ rubbers, with other filling ingredients.”

Extra virgin olive oil is olive oil. Virgin olive oil is olive oil and olive kernel oil.

Hello Atom!
1) Are there unique benefits to Virgin olive oil having extracts of the olive kernel? Is there a particular brand of olive oil that you have found to be the cleanest/freest of chemical toxins?
2) When you mention that black pepper can be problematic when eaten, would adding the whole pepper corns to a soup or dish during cooking to extract their flavor and then removing them afterwards (so as to not physically eat the pepper corn) be safe?

1) Both virgin and extra virgin olive oils seem similar, but the latter is less processed.
We use California Coast Naturals Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Their orchard is just up the road from us.
Without testing, we’re all in the dark. There’s a HUGE difference in the amount of oleic acid in various legitimate olive oils — 0.20% to 44.40% (average 1.20%).

2) The whole peppercorn is still alleged to be carcinogenic because of its high safrole content — twice as much as in sassafras. (Safrole is also in ginger, cumin, aniseed, etc.)
Safrole is degraded by cooking or irradiation, so perhaps whole peppercorns might be OK for flavoring.
Swami Nitty-Gritty said whole peppercorns could be used for some sort of “ultimate therapy,” but didn’t reveal any details (to me, at least).

According to Dr. Benjamin Rush (1746-1813) …
“Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will organize into an undercover dictatorship to restrict the art of healing to one class of Men and deny equal privileges to others; the Constitution of the Republic should make a Special privilege for medical freedoms as well as religious freedom.”
