Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) said …
“Life is a tragedy for those who feel. Life is a comedy for those who think.”
“The physical realm is chemical. The astral realm is emotional and electrical. The mental realm is ideational. The causal realm is the Essential Principle.”
“Adam is reason, the inductive nature of yourself, the rational damming up of forces to use flow. It can become combustible. Eve is creation and combustion. What good is static electricity if you can’t USE it? Creation is sex release.”
(Freud correctly taught that any and every physical symptom expresses and partly gratifies three unconscious wishes – erotic, aggressive, and self-punishing ones.)
“Women shouldn’t eat too many dates. It makes them too emotional.”
(Now you know why sheiks feed dates to the ladies in their harem. Savvy sheiks know that this date-based social manipulation dynamic is triadic, not dyadic, effective only when more than two women are involved.)
“No non-Master guru can take a disciple higher than the astral realm [emotional realm], though they themselves may reach the causal level [Essential Principle realm], but they can fall back again.”
“Emotion is energy in motion. Lie to yourself if you want to be energetic.”
“To have an effect on the environment, be cheerful. The lowest level of emotion is suicidal tendencies. The highest level of emotion is ecstasy.”
(Marcella Vonn Harting and I met a man last night who is on the road to emotional mastery. Al Fuentes, of Mental Champ: Performance Coaching Services, combines breath and MENTAL control to produce – command performance – goosebumps on his arms, etc.)
The “sensitivity” and “emotional” 28-day biorhythm is similar to the “lipido-proteic antigenic” defense mechanism described by Emanuel Revici, M.D.
Adano’s “emotional tone flow” exercise (trauma relief technique) is to visualize a flow from the solar plexus, “like water or air from a hose or light from a spotlight,” draining off the lowest “tone scale” to the highest, in this order …
(1) hopeless, helpless feeling
(2) grief, tears shed or unshed,
(3) appeasement, propitiation or compromise,
(4) covert or hidden hostility,
(5) frustration,
(6) open hostility and
(7) body-felt-good memories. (No one can remain alive without them.)
Master Chen – Yun Xiang Tseng of WuDang Mountain, China, and Golden, Colorado – advised …
“Emotions are clouds … why the Sun isn’t reaching the Earth.”
“Visualization and emotions disperse Qi.”
“Practice Iron Rooster. No spending Jing Qi on the emotions.”

Howdy Atom,
“Master Chen – Yun Xiang Tseng of WuDang Mountain:
‘Practice Iron Rooster. No spending Jing Qi on the emotions.'”
Would you mind elaborating on this statement a bit more? I’m sure he’s not talking about suppressing the emotions. Most likely, he’s saying do not pay them more attention than the acknowledgement that they require to allow them to flow unimpeded?
And “Iron Rooster?”
Any recommended tapes or works by Master Chen? (I’ve been over to his site after you mentioned him on a past show – and it doesn’t look like he’s going to be coming to the Northeast anytime soon…)
Peace,
Ryan

No real Master would ever tell a student to suppress emotions.
But the ego’s mind is primary to the ego’s emotions.
(E-go is “energy going out” versus in-go or “energy going in.”)
If I was flogged with a whip, I would feel pain and distress, yet a masochist – on the contrary – would be ecstatic.
Consider the Eastern parable of the coach and coachman.
The coach is the Body, the horses are the Heart, and the coachman is the Mind.
No real Master would tell a student not to be human … until it’s time to be “something else.”
According to Master Chen (Yun Xiang Tseng)…
“God gave you the present to be a normal human.”
“As long as you are human, you are always in the game.”
“Many people try to become God without admitting they’re human. Without human, we can never arrive at the Gate.”
“Honor being a human. Cry for three minutes.”
“How many of you find one thing to be thankful for every single day? At least you qualify to be human.”
“Every human love to be happy. If not, they’re already dead.”
“Human body to the Gate. The human body cannot walk through the Gate.”
“Be a human, be an Immortal, at the same time.”
“Conscience makes you become extraordinary human.”
“The original nature of humans is kindness, and kindness is the origin of conscience.”
“First be a good human before you become an extraordinary human.”
“You can’t just fantasize you can fly to the Heavens without physical body. Before you practice heavenly Tao, you must practice human Tao.”
“The 21st Century hippie do not understand. They think they can fly to the Heavens without supersonic jet.”
“Reverse human nature. Bring it to Immortality.”
“Only one percent of humans become Immortal. Otherwise, it’s too crowded.”
“Don’t let the emotional Black Dragon drag you down.”
“Become a Mystical Dragon that no human can predict. That is a spiritual leader.”
“For ten years my Master asked me the same question – ‘Can you see yourself in the mirror?'”
“When I was really young, I was real monkey. At 13, I’m not human anymore.”
“Beyond one half hour [of stopping eyeball movement], you become Immortal. You can be buried underwater, or you can be buried under the earth. It’s not difficult to reach. Ask yourself, are you The One?”
