Meet Patricks Dentist!

Dr. Stuart Nunnally is mercury-free (amalgam-free) and mercury-safe. He is dedicated to the practice of biological, health-based dentistry. His mission is to treat his patients in the most healthy, caring, holistic way possible and to share information about dental wellness with his patients so that they may make educated decisions about their oral health. He fully understands the important relationship of oral to overall health and realizes that; “You cannot be truly healthy without good oral health!”

Dr. Nunnally’s philosophy of biological dentistry recognizes that the teeth, and associated structures, are an integral part of the whole body. This Whole Body philosophy stresses the use of safe biocompatible dental materials whenever possible. Dr. Nunnally also works closely with qualified health professionals to assist him in his efforts to return the patient to optimal oral and overall health. His Health-Focused approach to biological/holistic dentistry means that he treats the teeth, jaw, and related oral structures, with specific regard to how that treatment will affect the entire body.

Show Highlights:

We had a pretty amazing response from our listeners who emailed in questions. We think we got to most of them; if you don’t see them below, it doesn’t mean they were not answered.

Click here for the full list of questions answered

-Using a persons own cells to repair tissues

-Some pioneering dentists claim to treat root canals using lasers instead. Are they attempting to stop the infection around the root and resuscitate the blood supply, or is it just an alternative sterilization technique which still kills the tooth?

-Reversing hypercalcification in a child

-Fish oil for stronger teeth?

-Dr. Nunnally’sposition on zirconium implants

-A listener wants to know what Dr. Nunnally recommends for bone grafts-particularly what he feels about using cadaver bone for grafts

-What is Dr. Nunnally’s opinion of using a device such as Dr. Tennant’s biomodulator or the low level laser to regrow bone after cavitation surgery? And what about someone who has nerve damage from a wisdom tooth surgery gone wrong? (not from Dr. Nunnally of course:)

-Is it possible to save a crowned tooth that needs a root canal with nutrition?

-Can you drill through a Cerec (porcelain) crown and not crack it?

-Is it possible to get a very well done root canal by a dentist who understands the necessity of sterilizing the drilled site and be “okay” if you have an excellent immune system?

-What isbiomimetic restoration and what does Dr. Nunnally think of it?

-Listener Question:My father has cancer and he has cavitations, a root canal, some mercury fillings and he also has a bridge that is made out of nickel right on the meridians where his cancer is. What have been the results, what have you seen of the people that come to your office who have cancer and do a dental revision?

-Could stainless steel crowns be exacerbating a child’s sensitivities to certain foods?

and so much more!

Re. Q. above on root canal surgery by laser, which was not actually asked on-air, the answer is that it can both regenerate dentin and be used as a sterilant-adjunct to conventional RC treatment.

Dr Nunnally is too nice a person to realise that his hoped-for stem-cell tooth-regeneration techniques will not be released to the public anytime soon. It would kill the implant and crown industries, and reduce dentists’ earnings.

Like free-energy technologies which really do work, such developments will be kept hidden from the public until the boys (Doug & Mel) decide the tine is right.
