Most commercial farm acreage in the U.S. has been converted to the production of genetically-modified food crops.

China has been growing transgenic wheat, corn, maize, rice, rape (canola), cotton, carp (the fish), etc. since the 1980s, heavily financed by the U.S. National Academy of Science, the Rockefeller Foundation, and the Monsanto Corporation.

(Note: 1980s is not a typo.)

Most of the world’s soybeans have been modified many times and with many different genes, involving a Pandora’s Box of other-than-soy genes.

Soybean manufacturing (it’s not farming anymore) has gone far beyond inserting the petunia gene or other pesticide-resistant genes.

Genetically-engineered recombinant DNA soybean products include soybean oil, soybean meal, soy lecithin, soy protein isolate, soy infant formula, soy sprouts, soy sauce, tofu, and tempeh.

Dupont, Monsanto, Cargill, Amgen, and other corporate behemoths are flooding the marketplace with genetically-engineered, designer-lipid, low-linolenic acid, Frankenfood soybeans designed to circumvent and pervert the intent of new FDA laws pertinent to cis- and trans-fatty acid disclosure labeling.

The same parastate corporate colonialists who brought us the Mayo-Fishbein-Rockefeller medical conspiracy, followed by the agrochemical “Green Revolution” (with its attendant avicides, bactericides, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, miticides, molluscicides, and nematicides) are now bringing us the “Gene Revolution” of recombinant DNA technology.

Heed the words of Jack LaLanne (1914-2011), the Godfather of Fitness …

“If man made it, don’t eat it.”

Freeman Dyson (“Make me a hipporoo: When children start to play with real genes, evolution as we know it will change forever,” New Scientist, Feb. 11, 2006) wrote …

“We are moving rapidly into the post-Darwinian era, when species will no longer exist, and the rules of ‘open source’ sharing will soon be extended from the exchange of software to the exchange of genes. Then the evolution of life will once again be communal, as it was in the good old days before separate species and intellectual property were invented.”

But do you really think the megacorporate police state will allow We the People to biomanipulate our own genes?

THEY plan to be in total control of our food, and therefore of our very lives.

THEY have already been supplying the unsuspecting populations of Native American reservations and Third and Fourth world countries with contraceptive corn on the cob.

“Innoculicious” vaccine-delivering “vehicles” such as vaccine-potatoes for hepatitis B and vaccine-bananas for human papilloma virus were developed over a decade ago.

Dr. Oz is now officially on the Timely Atom’s BS List.

Organic food is cheaper and fresher at the farmer’s markets here in Santa Barbara (where the farmers always mark up their prices) than even conventional foods at the local supermarkets.

Dr. Oz: “Nutritionally speaking, there is little difference between the farmer’s-market bounty and the humble brick from the freezer case. It’s true for many other supermarket foods too. And in my view, dispelling these myths – that boutique foods are good, supermarket foods are suspect and you have to spend a lot to eat well – is critical to improving our nation’s health. Organic food is great, it’s just not very democratic. As a food lover, I enjoy truffle oil, European cheeses and heirloom tomatoes as much as the next person. But as a doctor, I know that patients don’t always have the time, energy or budget to shop for artisanal ingredients and whip them into a meal.”

You can eat with the 99%, Doc Oz.

I prefer to eat with the “1% elite.” (Seems you’ve copped the Occupy Babylon movement’s 1% phraseology and screwed it on backwards.)

Dr. Oz: “The rise of foodie culture over the past decade has venerated all things small-batch, local-farm and organic – all with premium price tags. But let’s be clear: you don’t need to eat like the 1% to eat healthily. After several years of research and experience, I have come to an encouraging conclusion: the American food supply is abundant, nutritionally sound, affordable and, with a few simple considerations, comparable to the most elite organic diets. Save the cash; the 99% diet can be good for you.”

Let them eat cake (and antibiotics, hormones, and prions) on the Yellow Brick Road, Doc Oz.

Dr. Oz: “Nutritionally, there is not much difference between, say, grass-fed beef and the feedlot variety. The calories, sodium and protein content are all very close. Any lean meats are generally fine as long as the serving size is correct – and that means 4 to 6 oz., roughly the size of your palm.”

Even conservative stick-up-it’s-butt Wikipedia disagrees with you on grass-fed beef …

Ammachi the Hugging Saint (Awaken, Children!: Dialogues With Sri Sri Mata Amritanandamayi, Vol. I, adapted & translated by Swami Amritasvarupananda, 1989) wrote …

“… in the olden days there were plenty of medicinal trees everywhere. No diseases would be contracted if one breathed the air that had blown caressing those trees and leaves. The trees grown in those days were the peepal tree (banyan), the country fig tree and the neem or margosa tree. They were all ayurvedic herbal trees. Now, all of them have been cut down and removed. People have started growing fruit-bearing trees, plants and vegetables which are good for eating, but by using artificial means and fertilisers which will do harm to the body. Using these artificial and so-called modern means, they multiply the size and yield of the roots, vegetables and other plants by two or three times of what they would normally be. This is what the people are eating which will definitely be harmful physically, mentally and intellectually. The children born to them will also be affected. Nothing is natural nowadays. Even human beings are after unnatural things. They cannot act or speak naturally. Everything is unnatural. Therefore, they have lost their splendour and glory. The atmosphere has become completely impure. The population and houses have increased. The air has become polluted due to the poisonous gas produced from the factories and industries. Even the health of human beings is quickly deteriorating. The only way to regain the lost natural state of both Nature and human beings is through spirituality.”
