The labeling issue over genetically modified organisms (GMOs) is a red herring, designed by global agricultural robber barons to keep us unaware of the worldwide spread of genetically RECOMBINED organisms (GROs).
GROs are worse than GMOs, one reason being that the genes in GROs are mostly reshuffled via ionizing radiation, using …
1) X-rays
2) gamma rays
3) fast neutrons
4) thermal neutrons (used to create the Rio Red grapefruit)
Over three thousand foods (that we know about) have already been genetically recombined by ionizing radiation.
A.V.S.S. Sambamurty (Genetics, Second Edition, 2005) wrote …
“The first gamma garden was built in Long Island near New York, USA, whereas in India it was installed at the Bose Research Institute, Calcutta in 1959. A little later, another gamma-garden was built in New Delhi at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in 1960. A gamma-garden has also been established at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay. The IARI gamma-garden has an area of 3 acres, and is surrounded by a wall 12 ft high and 3 ft thick. This brick wall is in turn enclosed with a barbed wire fence. The gamma-ray source consists of 6 g of Co in form of small pellets; the Co pellets are sealed in an aluminum capsule. The strength of the Co source is 200 curies. The aluminum capsule is housed in a lead container, since lead is not penetrated by gamma rays or X-rays. When irradiation is to be done, the lid of the lead container is lifted; the aluminum capsule containing the Co pellets is also raised simultaneously. After irradiation, the aluminum capsule is lowered into the lead container and the lid of the container is closed enclosing the Co aluminum capsule in the lead container. The lead container is opened and closed by a remote control device.”
Compare this inhuman and dystopian abomination to the inherent capabilities of a flesh-and-blood human being like Luther Burbank.
Henry Smith Williams (Luther Burbank, His Life and Work, 1915) wrote …
“[…] Mr. Burbank was able from the outset to gain exceptional results because of certain inherent qualities that peculiarly fitted him for the work. Among these qualities was his exceedingly acute vision, a remarkable color sense, and almost abnormally developed senses of smell and taste. Artists who have tested his eyes have declared that he can readily detect gradations of color that to the ordinary eye show no differentiation whatever; and it is a matter of hourly demonstration that he can ferret out an individual flower having any infinitesimally modified odor in the midst of a bed of thousands of such plants, almost as a hunting dog detects the location of a grouse or partridge under cover.
“Similarly his exquisitely refined sense of taste guides him in selecting among thousands of individual plums or cherries or grapes or apples or berries the one individual specimen that has the most delectable flavor or that shows a minute modification of flavor in the direction in which he is endeavoring to modify the variety.
“This almost preternatural endowment of special senses is supplemented by a knowledge of the coordination of parts — say between the stem or leaf and the future fruit of a plant — that is so penetrating and mystifying as to seem intuitional and to suggest occult powers of divination.”
