How to Yawn #12
Re: How does deep yawning affect carbon dioxide/oxygen levels? And then, what follows from that?
According to the beaker boys, yawning doesn’t affect carbon dioxide/oxygen levels, but their research is superficial.
Spontaneous yawning was investigated, not Deep and/or Extended Intentional Yawning.
Obviously, the more a yawn is extended, the more carbon dioxide comes into play.
<>
But the Respiratory Exchange Ratio (the ratio between carbon dioxide produced in metabolism and oxygen used) during yawning is beyond my pay grade.
I have no knowledge of any investigations of RER (Respiratory Exchange Ratio) during yawning, spontaneous or otherwise, and we thus far haven’t “materialized” our own facility to perform such experiments.
Bill and Melissa Gates, where are you when push comes to shove in financing SERIOUS research?
<>
The astounding effects of yawning and stretching are NOT beyond my pay grade.

Maria Konnikova (“The Surprising Science of Yawning,” The New Yorker, Apr. 14, 2014) wrote …
“In 1923, Sir Francis Walshe, a British neurologist, noticed something interesting while testing the reflexes of patients who were paralyzed on one side of their bodies. When they yawned, they would spontaneously regain their motor functions. In case after case, the same thing happened; it was as if, for the six or so seconds the yawn lasted, the patients were no longer paralyzed. What’s more, Walshe reported that some of his patients had noticed ‘that when the fingers are extended and abducted during a yawn, they are able to flex and extend them rapidly, a thing they were unable to do at any other time. Indeed, one man added that he always waited for a yawn so that he might exercise his fingers in this way.'”

Simon B N Thompson & Mia Simonsen (“Yawning As a New Potential Diagnostic Marker for Neurological Diseases,” Journal of Neurology and Neuroscience, Oct. 5, 2015) wrote …
“Physicians working in the rehabilitation of stroke patients have reported on significant findings from yawning stroke patients. Sir Francis Walshe, a British neurologist, first reported on patients with lesions in the brain stem region who could raise their paralyzed arm when spontaneously yawning. This has been evidenced since and consistently, by others and particularly, in patients with left hemiplegia, the yawning response has been attributed to pseudobulbar syndrome. Swallow reflex and yawning have been postulated to be temporally related in a study that considered gape, smile and yawning responses. Participants were observed to swallow directly after yawning; again suggesting that the brain stem region might be the commonality between both reflexes. Findings supporting the presence of common neuroanatomicophysiological pathways for spontaneous swallows and yawning have also been reported.”

Atom: “What causes AIDS, Adano?”
Adano Ley: “What does AIDS stand for?”
Atom: “Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome.”
Adano: “What does ‘acquired’ mean?”
Atom: “It means ‘to get’.”
Adano: “It does NOT!!! Look it up in the dictionary.”

Hi Atom,
a 50 year old man’s hair is thinning slowly but surely. I eat young coconuts every other day (the water & the soft white meat inside). I remember you saying something about coconut being estrogenic and this may be a negative factor for hair ? Also, what foods should be avoided ? and what foods eaten to remedy this problem ?

Coconut can actually help hair growth.
A reply to this question requires an entire blog entry, and I won’t be done with my How to Yawn series for a while.
Meanwhile, avoid PUFAS and HUFAs and eat whole foods.
One of my friends regrew all of his hair by massaging his scalp every night with the pickle preservative polysorbate 80 (sold by Twinlab).
It took him four years to get it all back.

Coconuts are hairy. Kiwis are hairy. Hence, in my opinion, they help the hair. Geometric body resonance.

I agree. :)

Okay to things Mr. Bergstrom. 1 did you or Adano ever smoke? Did you or Adano have smoking cigs or general tobacco in solar nutrition. A little of anything as medicine?
2 the quantum tuna omelette: you need to do more blogs on quantum food :). May you elaborate on that. You said your Consciousness changed while driving. Does that mean you got a hardon!?

Adano chain-smoked 200 cigarettes a day (an entire carton), more than the 150 a day actress Tallulah Bankhead smoked.
He only used one match a day, lighting one after another.
The nicotine made him break out in boils, so he stopped.
It took him decades to eliminate the nicotine from his system.
I, on the other hand, only smoked three or four cigarettes in my entire lifetime.
I did smoke marijuana for a while, but found I could get higher (and deeper and wider) without it.
Smoking tobacco cigarettes is not advisable, but tobacco does have a Solar Nutrition time window — 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
My Quantum Supper put me in a delta state, when and where all the horses in the horse race cross the finish line at the same time.
This state of consciousness begins at Consciousness acting on Energy (where I was at the time) and culminates in Consciousness acting on Consciousness (360-degree Placebo Mindset).

360 Placebo. Does that mean that you are the matrix. And realizing at that moment that you create your own reality regardless of the minerals and soil that go inside. Attitude in the moment overrides solar nutrion or any other modality. Does this make sense. I am asking your help to clarify this type of consciousness.

The Zero God is Beingness acting on Beingness. The Seventh and Eighth Chakras are so boring, they even bore God.
The Seventh Chakra (Beingness acting on Consciousness) is Man Transcending, a state Jung correctly called “utterly without redeeming value,” and the Sixth Chakra (Consciousness acting on Consciously) is God Descending, always a FUN place to be.
ALL is ONE at the level of God Descending.
“Maya is the illusion of difference,” according to Sathya Sai Baba.
We can’t become God because He already became us.
Sitting IN the lap of God is a lot more FUN than “being” AT the right hand of God.
