Please note “Caution” in yesterday’s blog entry before reading more things Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) said about IODINE …

“Iodine is where your hand sticks when lightly moving it over flesh.”

“Iodine has valences of one, three, five, and seven. Almonds are one, sesame seeds are three, eggplant is five, and seaweed is seven.”

“Take iodine for the thyroid for will power – also, iron and nitrogen.”

“Iodine is compensation for the lack of tonsils and appendix.”

“Salmon is rich in iodine and vitamin E.”

“Eat oysters for sex drive. Oysters are rich in iodine to stabilize hormones.”

“Too much or too little iodine can make you impotent. Sperm is marine life.”

“Sulfur and iodine are needed by fish to maintain heat. When a fish floats in water, is its buttocks higher than its nose?”

“Ginseng contains germanium, phosphorus, sulfur, and iodine. Ginseng is a cooling herb – the germanium crystal acts as an inhibitor to neurons.”

“Fluorine is in the Circulation-Sex Meridian. Iodine prefers non-nitrogenous protein, and fluorine phases down iodine.”

“Take black walnut for iodine to go to the bathroom.”

“Sour plum sets the hormones in the body, and balances both salt and iodine. Or take coffee, cocoa, and maple syrup.”

“Sprouted tofu has more protein, iodine, calcium, iron, and zinc.”

“Excess iodine burns up vitamin C.”

“Iron phases down iodine. Take bitter olives to deactivate thyroxine, and bitter melon to deactivate the adrenals.”

Iodine is low in the mountains (where it washes away) and low in the lowlands (where goitrogens accumulate).

That’s why, once upon a time, iodine was found in wheat samples from Nephi, Utah, more often than any other place in the U.S., yet goiter from iodine deficiency was rampant.
