Keep Those Dogies Rolling
According to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) …
“Fit For Life [first published in 1985] will guarantee you only one bowel movement a day. Solar Nutrition guarantees you three.”

John F. Cowan, M.D. (1922) wrote …
“The classification of enteroliths has been based largely on their inorganic constituents, little attention having been given to the organic substances which they contain. Treves gives the following classification: (1) Those formed in great part of phosphate of lime, or of phosphate of magnesia, or of the triple phosphate, or stones formed of a mixture of these salts. These calculi may contain also some carbonate of lime together with soda, and are nearly always combined with a certain amount of animal matter and occasionally with a little cholesterin. They are heavy and stone-like, and on section show a concentric arrangement of chalk-like or dirty white layers which often alternate with layers of a brownish color. They appear to be formed around a nucleus of some indigestible substance, such as vegetable fibers, husks, hair, fruit stones, biliary calculi, pieces of bone, or other small foreign bodies that have been swallowed accidentally. (2) Avenoliths, ‘oat-stones,’ or enteroliths of a low specific gravity and of irregular form which are porous in appearance and have the consistence of compressed sponge. They are composed mainly of densely matted together masses of vegetable fragments mixed with particles of fecal matter and with a certain amount of calcareous material similar to that in the first group. (3) Concretions formed of insoluble mineral substances that have been swallowed as medicines. These are most frequently of magnesia, iron, and bismuth subnitrate.”
According to the same source …
“Persistent constipation is common to all, even the young.”
