Three laboratory tests are necessary to guide a mineral’s physiological status …

1) inside the cell (red blood cell, etc.)

2) outside the cell (serum, interstitial fluid, etc.)

3) total (inside the cell plus outside the cell)

A lab doesn’t have to do a cell biopsy to find out what’s going on inside the cell.

Simply subtract the “outside the cell” reading from the total reading.

Cancer cells have a qualitative and persistent excess of potassium (as much as 60%, along with an equivalent excess in red blood cells and a deficiency in blood serum).

This excess potassium in red blood cells and its deficiency in blood serum is related to the fact that red blood cells can contain ample oxygen at the identical time tissue oxygen levels have dropped to zero. (Serum and tissue oxygen tension levels are measured as Po2, oxygen partial pressure.)

Dr. Emanuel Revici found low-serum potassium values associated with an acid pain pattern, and high-serum potassium values associated with alkaline pain.

Referring to total-blood potassium, Steven Wm. Fowkes (“Emanuel Revici, M.D.: Novel Treatments for Heart Disease, Cancer, AIDS and other Chronic Diseases,” Journal of the MegaHealth Society, Jul. 1987) wrote …

“Since most of the potassium is inside of blood cells, the amount in serum is greatly overshadowed, and total-blood potassium closely approximates cellular potassium. Total-blood potassium can be easily and inexpensively determined with the same testing equipment used for serum potassium by diluting one cc of fresh or heparinized blood into 9 cc of distilled water. The distilled water disturbs the osmotic balance of the blood cells and they swell and burst, releasing the intracellular potassium into the solution where it can be tested. Because potassium levels are approximately ten times higher inside blood cells than in serum and the sample is diluted tenfold, the same laboratory equipment can be used to measure the sample without recalibration or added expense. Simply multiply the test result by ten.”

    hi atom.

what do you know about niobium? it’s my favourite mineral. the homeopathic keywords are tantalized, isolation, middle age and town center. such a lovely thing :)

it’s also one of the few metals treated in stones of the new consciousness. one of my go-tos for infotainment.

I know little about niobium except that it’s used in jet engines, nuclear reactors, and superconducting magnets.

      Swami Nitty-Gritty said …

“Traces of chromium, mercury, nickel, zinc, niobium, and tantalum are found in kidney beans. These are all turquoise elements.”
