Leaky gut syndrome is excess and/or mistimed intestinal permeability.

Excess intestinal permeability is over-alkaline permeability, either locally or throughout the body.

Mistimed intestinal permeability is a daily (circadian) and/or yearly (circannual) syndrome.

Intestinal permeability is designed to be most permeable in the late afternoon and autumn, and least permeable in the evening and winter.

Excessive intestinal permeability and high serum potassium lead to diarrhea, while restricted intestinal permeability and low serum potassium lead to constipation.

Gut viruses (such as astroviruses) thrive in the winter because they require more acidity.

The gut becomes more alkaline and permeable to eliminate these gut viruses.

Eliminating gut viruses before winter is the highest choice.

(Gut viruses thrive in the winter in temperate climates. Gut viruses thrive during the rainy season in tropical climates.)

A mistimed gut means you’re sitting when you’re supposed to be moving, and moving when you’re supposed to be sitting.

A “moving” experience is one that is “touching, poignant, heartwarming, or heart-rending,” linking the Large Intestine Meridian to the Heart Meridian, and the Small Intestine Meridian to the Pericardium Meridian.

The Heart Meridian (11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.) is a six-hour, 90-degree “shunt” for the Large Intestine Meridian (7:00-9:00 a.m.).

The Pericardium Meridian (7:00-9:00 p.m.) is a six-hour, 90-degree “shunt” for the Small Intestine Meridian (1:00-3:00 p.m.).

According to Astrovirus Research (edited by Stacey Schultz-Cherry), 2013 …

“In temperate regions, HAstV infection occurs mostly in winter, although cases may be observed in summer, which may reflect a better stability of the virus at cold temperature. HAstV are transmitted through the fecal-oral route, and food and waterborne outbreaks have been reported in the literature. Moreover, fecally contaminated environmental surfaces act as vehicles for the transmission of the infection in day care centers, hospitals, nurseries, schools, and military institutions.”

Are papaya tree leaves a cure for Dengue ?

    • September 30, 2014 @ 4:05 pm atomb

Papaya leaf extract shows “activity against” the Dengue virus. It’s way short of a “cure.”

As a nonspecific rule, viruses thrive in an acidic environment, and bacteria in an alkaline one.
