The following conversation occurred in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin …

“I sprained my ankle,” a woman said.

“Which ankle did you sprain? Left or right?” I asked.

“The right one. I can barely move it.”

“What time of the day did you sprain it?”

“Yesterday afternoon.”

“Can you remember the exact time, or at least as close as possible?”

“I got home about 1:00 p.m. No one was there, and I didn’t look at the clock, so I’d guess it was about 2:00 p.m.”

“Let me ask you a crazy question. When you think of the pain and the inconvenience of spraining your ankle, what’s the very first color that pops into your mind? What color do you think of?”

“Well, red.”

“Just before you sprained your ankle, did a woman call you on the telephone and tell you she was moving away? Someone close to you, a friend or a relative?”

“Yes, my daughter phoned me. She said she was moving to Iowa.” She started crying.

Trauma and color are intimately intertwined.

You can’t have one without the other.

Erwin Schrodinger wrote …

“The sensation of color cannot be accounted for by the physicist’s objective picture of light-waves. Could the physiologist account for it, if he had fuller knowledge than he has of the processes in the retina and the nervous processes set up by them in the optical nerve bundles and in the brain? I do not think so.”

How do you clear a red trauma?

    • May 8, 2014 @ 2:53 pm atomb

Clearing a Red Trauma means mastering Change and Transformation.

One way to begin is by putting Red “In Flow” by physically or psychologically exposing yourself to Black, Gray, Brown, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, and White, in sequential order.

The rest of mastering the color Red is by Life Mastery, learning to play multiple roles, e.g. (as Swami Nitty-Gritty suggested) Criminal, Victim, Policeman, Lawyer, Prosecutor, Judge, etc.

Most people get stuck in a lifelong role, or PERSONA.

Gurdjieff called it PERSONALITY, and compared it to ESSENCE.

Mastering the color Red means balancing personality (left brain) with essence (right brain).

Master Chen suggested to only play the roles of judge, victim, etc.. for three minutes at a time and then get out of it to avoid being stuck.

According to Wu Dang Chen, “Life is a triangle game.”

The Victim, Persecutor, and Hero is Chen’s Taoist version of the Karpman Triangle.

A few days ago I kicked the fourth toe of my right foot into a bed post. Still bruises now, and this am had a sequence of dreams about being angry and resentful at my mother. In the final dream (that I was dragging the same drama through) I told her, “if I don’t you how I really felt it would break your heart.”

Guess I almost broke my toe instead.

Dreams do help us “work things out” while we’re sleeping. *Thumbs Up*
