Re: Could my slow breathing be “the breath coming in too late?” Or is that a different thing? What about low blood pressure? If you had depression then you would have low blood pressure. So slowing your breath wouldn’t be good! But breathing exercises feel so good for depression/anxiety!?

Yogis slow down the velocity of the breath, but still remain “on the beat.”

The ascending absorption function of an organ is associated with the first of the two hours of any of the twelve organ times.

Anyone synchronized to the environmental field will switch their breathing from the left nostril to the right one at the beginning of the first hour of any of these organ times. The left nostril congests, i.e. swells and obstructs, and the right nostril decongests, i.e. opens up.

The descending elimination function of an organ is associated with the second of the two hours of any of the twelve organ times.

Anyone synchronized to the environmental field will switch their breathing from the right nostril to the left one at the beginning of the second hour of any of these twelve organ times.

If the breath switches nostrils five minutes ahead of time (say, 2:55 a.m. instead of 3:00 a.m.), the breath is coming in too soon.

If the breath switches nostrils five minutes behind time (say, 3:05 a.m. instead of 3:00 a.m.), the breath is coming in too late.

Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) said …

“The regulatory control of the retention and dissipation of carbon dioxide is for the physical immortality of the cells.”

Yogis take breath control to a mind-boggling extent. For example, here’s how they warm up for Pranayama (four times a day for exactly 48 minutes each time for three months) …

Breathe into the left nostril for 3.4128 seconds, hold for 13.6512 seconds, and breathe out for 6.8256 seconds.

Breathe into the right nostril for 3.4128 seconds, hold for 13.6512 seconds, and breathe out for 6.8256 seconds.

Etc.

According to Adano …

“The nostrils are equal during samadhi or death.”

    Hi Atom,

After hearing Dr Drury and taking your advice from ages ago I’m going to see a chiropractor to look at my atlas as I feel this might be the cause of some of my ills. While I’m there is there anything else I should ask? Also if my atlas is misaligned and put back, in general can it come out easy again after years in wrong place? I don’t want to be returning to the chiropractor too much as I can just afford a few visits.

    All the Best

    Martin

Adjustments of any type (atlas or otherwise) rarely hold unless …

      1) The associated misaligned muscles (that hold vertebrae or are reflexive to them) are put in place too.

      2) Ditto for misaligned cranial reflexes.

      3) Ditto for misaligned nerves and their associated chemistry.

      4) Once the MNEMIC TRACES are dealt with, you can theoretically skip all of the above, but it’s practical to cover as many bases as you can! :)

We’re eager to swing open the portals of the Santa Barbara Sun Sync Science School of Self Healing to certify as many Wellness Liaisons as possible capable of identifying and defusing Mnemic Traces. :)

what about the pineal and co2/oxygen balance? i have a tendency to space out and breathe ‘down’ rather than up. if i make a conscious effort to exhale into the top of my head i instantly feel more wakeful. i think dinshah (his name slips my mind right now) associated oxygen with blue and the pineal?

Yes, energy goes where you direct it. :)

For example, acupuncture works better when both the acupuncturist and client concentrate on the point being stimulated (Yang) or sedated (Yin).

Col. Dinshah Ghadiali associated oxygen with the color blue and the pineal gland.

“Oxygen Time” is from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Disappointed or disillusioned or rejected people are weakened by the color blue.

Their respiration comes in too late (the subject of this blog entry).

It will be the best school ever!

Do you have the source for the yogi decimal breathing times please?

Yes, available on our Sun Sync Nutrition website. :)

Thanks Atom! Appreciated, I’ll mention those points to the chiropractor. What are MNEMIC TRACES? Will you be teaching this online from your school? Also how long is that special offer to access everything as a member going to last?

The $79.99 ONE-TIME PRICE is now in the hands of our tech crew.

It was already supposed to be changed to a $99.99 ONE-TIME PRICE, but our techies still have to figure out what to do with the folks who signed up for the discontinued very-limited-access $7.99 option.

Long story short, the price change will happen any day now. :)

A mnemic trace is a memory trace.

I’m phasing out the word “engram” because people mistake me for a Scientologist.

I’ve got no beef with Scientology; it’s just that I’m referring to the original dictionary definition of “engram.”
