Living To Spite Someone

According to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) …

“Better to be a live weirdo than a dead know-it-all.”

<>

Matthew Joseph Rodermund, M.D. (Fads in the Practice of Medicine, and the Cause and Prevention of Disease, 1901) wrote …

“A story is told of a wealthy lady, where the heirs had been wishing she would die, finally became sick and when nearly breathing her last, heard one of the bystanding heirs congratulate another that she was dying and that they would soon be enjoying her fortune; she became aroused and said, ‘I won’t die; I will live to spite you,’ and by putting forth a powerful mental struggle for life, recovered and lived many years, evidently from this powerful determination to live.”

<>

According to the same source …

“A Mrs. Rolf, struck with a serious illness, kept trying to persuade her husband to promise her in the event of her death not to marry again, to which he kept replying evasively and that they were trying to cure her and hoped to succeed. When almost dead she determined with her last breath to extort from him an answer. He finally frankly replied, ‘If I should make such a promise to a dying wife I should feel bound to fulfill it, and I would rather not promise.’ ‘Well, Mr. R., if you don’t promise me not to marry again, I won’t die,’ and she didn’t die; didn’t because she wouldn’t; and, so far as I know, she is alive and well to-day, just because she wouldn’t die. (Hadn’t the old goose better have promised her!)”

According to the same source …

“Mrs. Gunn, of Painesville, Ohio, was taken seriously ill; she was a devoted mother, and tried to induce her husband, in case she died, to keep the family together, instead of putting the children out; but he would not promise, and when, her extremities already dying and her sight failing, replied to his ‘don’t know’ answers: ‘Well if you won’t keep this family together, then I will,’ and putting her action to the word, by a powerful effort of will, her blood went bounding through her system, and she recovered because she willed to. She lived to keep her family together until all were married and lectured many years to ladies on health.”

High blood pressure is caused by stress, omega 3 fatty acids, lactic acid, melatonin, serotonin, cortisol, nitric oxide, etc.

Meditation reduces blood pressure by reducing lactate. So do meditation or simple sugars.

Lack of salt (sodium chloride) causes more high blood pressure than it cures.

Hyperventilation (excess oxygen beyond physiological usage) is the primary cause of both edema and high blood pressure.

Diuretics, including Lasix, *cause* the very edema they’re supposed to *cure*.

I know a nurse who rubbed vitamin E all over a patient’s body, eliminating a dozen or so skin cancers.

The doctor refused to give her permission, so she did it on the sly.

Hats off to disobedient nurses !!!!!

Hi Atom, what causes low blood pressure ?

    • January 23, 2020 @ 1:59 pm Atom

Low blood pressure is “good” if you get there the “right” way.

There are numerous “wrong” ways to get there.

I got there the “wrong” way by eating all that tuna and mayo, risking a “cardiac event” just a few revolutions around the Sun ago.

Things went back to normal by supplementing with extra sugar to “reload” my liver’s glycogen.

A whole organic orange every day at Spleen-Pancreas Time worked wonders too.

“Right” ways to achieve low blood pressure include mantra meditation and evening bag-breathing.

Dizziness and/or varicose veins are symptoms of acquiring low blood pressure the “wrong” way.

Acquire doesn’t mean to “get.” It means to “buy” or “obtain.” That’s why companies have Acquisition Departments.

Low thyroid is a major cause. Shock is another.
