Re: Is it true that you’ll burn an extra 250-500 calories a day by drinking 8 glasses of ice cold water?
Yes, you’ll burn extra calories, but you’ll GAIN weight, not lose it.
Those extra calories are burned by interfering with digestion, blood pressure, and heart rhythm.
Cardiologists warn their patients about the dangers of drinking liquids that are either too hot or too cold.
Weight loss and gain are determined by your body’s ability to metabolize oxygen and supervise carbon dioxide, not by the rate you burn calories.
To lose weight, do aerobic exercise at Spleen-Pancreas Time (9:00-11:00 a.m.) and drink Spring Temperature liquids immediately thereafter.
To gain weight – structural weight, not residual weight – do aerobic exercise at Urinary Bladder Time (3:00-5:00 p.m.) and drink Autumn Temperature liquids immediately thereafter.
This relates to the four daily cycles of Solar Nutrition …
(1) Spring of the Body – 3:00-9:00 a.m.
(2) Summer of the Body – 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
(3) Autumn of the Body – 3:00-9:00 p.m.
(4) Winter of the Body – 9:00 p.m.-3:00 a.m.
In turn, this relates to our biphasic annual cycle of food metabolism.
(1) Phase One lasts from April to October.
It’s a period of sugar-burning activity with a lipid reserve stored for winter hibernation.
(2) Phase Two lasts from October to April.
It’s a period of relative inactivity when lipids are burned more readily than in the previous phase.
This biphasic mechanism “mimics that of hibernation in lower animals.”
Human hibernation genes are located primarily in the pancreas, and help regulate pancreatic lipase.
It’s the primary enzyme for breaking down fat molecules – when activated by bile acid and colipase.

Re: do you think it’s possible to change cancer cells to healthy cells by burping?
Anything Can Cause Anything, and Anything Can Cure Anything.
If we can placebo ourselves sick, we can placebo ourselves well.
Swami Nitty-Gritty told us to only use hypnosis in cases of emergency.
I personally consider cancer a state of emergency.

Hypnosis is sometimes used as “adjuvant therapy” to control the pain of cancer.
Heaven forbid it should be used to cure it.
The many cases of people being cured of cancer by hypnosis over the last 150 years have being repressed.
The word “adjuvant” is DocSpeak for, “Don’t forget we’re the alpha dogs here, man, and you’re nothing but the beta dogs!”

A cucumber is low in calories but is a weight-gain food.
The expression “cool as a cucumber” explains why.
Cucumbers are usually 20 degrees or so lower in temperature than their ambient environments.
They’re a cooling food and produce excess gas when eaten, especially if you don’t know how to DE-GAS them.
The silica in a cucumber is a heat dissipator.

Hi Atom,
My husband is trying to eat in a chronobitic nutritional style.Do you think that following this style of life by itself eliminates a distended belly or are there other things he can do.
He drinks ice cold drinks a lot.

Yawning, stretching, Solar Nutrition, all help.
Trauma is usually the cause.
An attraction to hot or cold is an addiction.
It’s best to work around addictions, and do whatever you can.
Sometimes there’s no choice but to do beat-around-the-bush therapy.
It’s been known to work. :)

Thanks Atom, but what is beat-around-the-bush therapy?

Indirectly approaching the situation … focusing on what you CAN do, not on what you can’t do.
If your husband can’t give up cold drinks, find something he CAN do.
