M-E-D-I-T-A-T-I-O-N (Part 1)
According to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty, a.k.a. the Kit Carson of the Aquarian Age) …
“Meditation is Mental Energy Directing Individual Thought Activity Towards Internal and Intuitive Observation and Oneness with Noumena or Nature.”
“Eastern men call it meditation to get you interested. Conscious sleeping is Nature’s method of biological rejuvenation.”
“In meditation we can be satisfied and radiate happiness, but a professional could detect imperfections.”
“When most people meditate, they dial God on the telephone, phone number Z-E-R-O-G-O-D, and relate their message before he answers the call.”
“The real temple is in the body, and the real worship is internal silence. Be like a needle pointing north all the time. Let the identity of yourself stay in the center of your forehead.”
“Meditation is conscious sensory-motor relaxation induced by oxygenation to slow the brain down, inducing magnetic flow. Lactic acids will build up due to conscious sleeping.”
“The test of spirituality and meditation is to be practical moment to moment. How immune is he? How divine is he? The immune level is the measuring stick of the balanced person. He is busy living it.”
“Practicing meditation is the preparation for living meditation. Living meditation is demonstrated in your daily life by having the ability to recognize the correct moment to act.”
“Enlightenment is the ability to act on command, the responsive act, and the evidence is how life revolves around you.”
“The biggest devil is distraction from watching during meditation. Don’t fall asleep on the job.”
“The pituitary is the resonance between the two sides of the brain, so meditation is mediation, bio-optic-sonic focusing.”
“Be like the camera, photographing but not analyzing. Halfway is the observation, but not the mothering or fathering of it.”
“The life energy moves up in the spine when you sit up to meditate, and ‘inheritance’ means the psychic forces that are locked up in you will start opening up. We are not supposed to seek the psychic forces — we’re supposed to let them happen to us. That’s why it says, ‘What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul.’ We’re not supposed to run after them. We’re supposed to find our true self and our inner peace, and psychic ability is a byproduct.”
“Meditation is to transform the breakdown of the organism to a conscious regulation. Living meditation is living an actual tangible experience involving atomic physics.”
“Cell-realization is to make structural realization a real thing.”
“Meditate to become intimate with the atom. Romance the atom.”
“‘Seek you first the kingdom of God which is within you.’ Get back to what you are, then you have the whole cosmos to live in.”
“When you face yourself within yourself, you’ll find you’re not catering to a belief system. Get in there and get it.”
“Many are ready to know about their past lives, but few are prepared for it.”
“One hour of reflexology is worth three hours of meditation. One colonic is worth a thousand hours of meditation.”
“If you take one minute to offer some action to further continuance of life it is equivalent to a million years of meditation.”

According to Swami Nitty-Gritty …
“The Negative Force is all around. It’s called Time. The moment Time becomes positive, it’s Timelessness.”

There’s a Sufi story about a traveler’s arrival in a town terrorized by a “monster.”
This monster was actually a hefty watermelon.
The traveler turned the watermelon into a hearty meal to demonstrate the reality of the situation.
But the townsfolk completely missed the point.
They were now terrified of the stranger’s mysterious “powers,” so they threw stones at him and drove him out of town.
