Magnesium Sources & Ratios
Re: What are your recommended sources of magnesium?
99% of every fresh whole food in existence from all three Solar Growth Zones contains magnesium.
For example, every single chlorophyll molecule is composed of 6.7% magnesium.
Chlorophyll-free mushrooms can’t exist without magnesium either.
The question is not how to GET magnesium.
The question is how to METABOLIZE magnesium.
First World cultures are so overwhelmingly toxic and mistimed, they can’t utilize and/or store the FOURTH MOST COMMON ELEMENT ON EARTH.
The question, “Where do I get my magnesium?,” doesn’t even appear on my list of wellness and longevity priorities.

Re: What about a magnesium bath?
The magnesium doesn’t do much, but the warm bath water is relaxing.
Absorbing magnesium through the skin is a popular folk myth, but little if any absorption actually occurs.
I rarely agree with WebMD, but in the following case I do.
According to WebMD …
“In water, it [Epsom salt] breaks down into magnesium and sulfate. The theory is that when you soak in an Epsom salt bath, these get into your body through your skin. That hasn’t been proven, but just soaking in warm water can help relax muscles and loosen stiff joints.”

Re: What about the calcium-magnesium ratio? Some claim it’s 2:1. Others claim it’s as high as 1:1.
The Ca:Mg ratio was concocted for soil measurement, not medical measurement, in the 1940s.
The ratio was proved worthless in the 1980s, but the myth continues.
Calcium lives on the Fourth Floor of the Periodic Table of the Elements, while magnesium lives on the Third Floor (next door to sodium).
