Mind Reading For the Millions #3
I’m the first guy to “put the meter” on human thought. Dogs, too.
I’m not the first guy to claim to do it.
Dr. Milton Metfessel, of the University of Southern California, claimed to do it, but he did a half-baked job.
He measured thoughts by hooking up an electrical amplifier to the tongue, measuring nerve impulses with an external device.
Tongue movements almost always accompany thinking and “silent” reading, which is why ENT (ear, nose, & throat) specialists proscribe reading after throat surgery.
We’re accountable for every thought we have that moves the tongue, but not for the ones that don’t.
According to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) …
“The more you talk to others, the stupider you become. The more you talk to yourself, the still more stupider you become. The more you don’t talk but keep on talking, the smarter you become. Most people want to keep talking for talk’s sake, and therefore find themselves running out of what to talk about. And if they get to themselves, they’re still afraid to talk to themselves. But it’s all right to talk to yourself as long as you don’t move your lips. So the ability to sit down and wait and listen is an art that provides the avenue of awareness to talk of things outside of the range of what you project, so when a question comes up you can either comment or wait for all the other commentaries to reach the end of their projection, then you can pick up from there and go further.”
Truth be told, the SPINE is an electrical amplifier for the brain, so no extraneous amplification is needed.
The lumbar and sacral nerves are extremely effective brain-signal amplifiers, basically turning the feet into two loudspeakers.
Hands are also loudspeakers, just not as loud.
Thoughts speak louder than words, and thoughts, as well as words, are ACTIONS.
And actions can be MEASURED and INTERPRETED.

According to Swami Nitty-Gritty …
“If you’re the puppet, cut the strings. If you’re the clown, do simple things. It you’re the joker, learn how to make a joke so the joke is always back on you. If you’re the loser, learn how to do anything and not be victimized by losing. If you’re the dealer, pull back enough so they feel you’re no threat to them. Then go to the mirror and stick your tongue out at it to break fixations.”

Swami Nitty-Gritty said …
“When I died, I was greeted by St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, only to find out that I would have to clean up all of those oyster shells. Then I went to Hell, only to discover that I would have to stack all the firewood to keep the fires burning. Then Omar Khayyam stuck out his tongue at me and said, ‘I, myself, am Heaven and Hell.'”

“You keep hearing that society’s greatest tasks are educating people and getting them jobs. That’s great. Two things people hate to do: go to school and go to work.” — George Carlin

Carlin was hard to listen to but his quips were spot on.
” Bipartisan usually means that a larger than usual deception is being carried out”
