Nitric Oxide Is Chillin’ Like a Villain

Nitric oxide is a highly reactive toxic gas — a potent free radical.

Its enthusiasts tend to forget the free radical part.

Nitric oxide is created by excess oxygen combined with excess heat — just like in a motor vehicle or power plant.

Getting hit by lightning is a good source (*wink wink*).

Using nitric oxide to increase blood flow is like using nitroglycerin to open up a dam and increase water flow.

Nitroglycerin, of course, is a precursor of nitric oxide.

Nitric oxide was proclaimed “Molecule of the Year” in 1992.

1992 was a good year for Mel Gibson too.

Nitric oxide is classified as an “extremely hazardous substance,” which makes it perfect for a health food supplement.

It made the cover of the biotech, uh, health food, magazine, Life Extension, founded by Saul Kent and William Faloon in the 1980s.

(Do some research on those two jokers. Don’t withhold the love; they’re just trying to earn a living like Bill Gates.)

Nitric oxide is a vasodilator (*sound of trumpets*), which is what all the ballyhoo is mainly about.

Vasodilators have side effects …

chest pain, heart palpitations, rapid heartbeat, FLUID RETENTION, nausea or vomiting, dizziness, headache, flushing, excessive hair growth, nasal congestion, etc.

Ladies, vasodilators affect unborn babies and breastfeeding.

Blue light (420-453 nanometers) creates abundant nitric oxide.

Fortunately, that frequency is only available at midday, and “only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun.”

(“The Chinese don’t care to. The Japanese wouldn’t dare to.”)

What??? You say you’re using blue light inside your house? At night? At midnight?

Not only is it toxic. Nitric oxide in the evening resets your circadian rhythms.

Your circadian pacemaker won’t be able to figure out if you’re a bat or a salamander.

RED LIGHT to the rescue! Blue light inhibits respiration, and red light enhances it.

635 and 670 nanometers have been well researched, but other frequencies of red and even orange are also effective for dealing with nitric oxide.

Ray Peat will tell you all about it, but Colonel Dinshah Ghadiali beat him to the punch, knowing that red is …

a liver builder, a hemoglobin builder, a skin cleanser, and a counter-agent for X-ray burns, ultraviolet radiation, etc.

Col. Ghadiali named RED the Thermal Wave, BLUE the Refrigerant Wave, YELLOW the Luminous Wave, and VIOLET the Radioactive Wave.

But be sure to use Body Dowsing (Mind Reading For the Millions) to make sure you don’t have a Color Engram that turns Red into a menace.

Colors are dual-edged swords when it comes to both mind and matter (or both as in the cingulate cortex of the brain).

Ditch the Red Engram (trauma), and Red becomes the answer to ALL inflammation, including appendicitis (inflammation of the vermiform appendix).

Hello Atom! Thank you for another outstanding post! In my research into infrared light therapy – as with many health modalities – there would seem to be some considerable points of contradiction. In this case, one side supports the use of Near Infrared light for the skin, as it “is extremely effective in wound healing by enabling the body to relax the tissues and speed various cellular regeneration processes” for issues like “X-ray burns and ultraviolet radiation”. It is also reported that the special form of heat it provides “disables or kills cells mutated by radiation or damaged by other toxins”.

On the other hand, however, there are studies that warn infrared light is a contributing factor in the unhealthy condition of photoaging, the primary detrimental effect coming from the generation of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) that can result in damage to cellular DNA, lipids and proteins and the degradation of collagen. Those concerned with infrared light’s alleged involvement with those negative processes report that Near Infrared light is the range of most relevance, due to the deep penetration its rays achieve upon the skin. Their recommendation is to reduce the amount of exposure to Near Infrared light from “the three most relevant sources of Near Infrared Radiation (aka NIR or IR-A): 1) natural solar radiation, 2) artificial IR-A generated for therapeutic or health promoting purposes and 3) artificial sources of UV light containing the IR-A spectrum” as much as possible to avoid the purported ravages of said light…

Would you say this is another case of corporate misinformation attempting to scare the public away from an inexpensive health modality, or is there sufficient cause to consider moderation in the use of red light therapy? If so, how would one determine the sort of time under red light exposure that could be deemed as ‘safe’ yet still ‘therapeutic’?

Is the prevalence of PUFAs and their massive corruption of the body’s systems the real reason for the misinterpretation of Near Infrared light’s involvement in photoaging, as with Ray Peat’s articles discussing the light-sensitizing and glycation effects of said fats, meaning that their removal would greatly alleviate this concern?

As Tretinoin, a pharmaceutical form of a vitamer of vitamin A, has been used in the treatment of photoaging, does that mean sufficient amounts of direct, proper vitamin A (not beta-carotene, and vitamin A that hasn’t “gone rogue”) could also negate this possible issue with infrared light?

      Thanks Atom!

        GREAT questions, John!

My latest blog entry (Infrared Radiation By the Numbers, Oct. 11, 2016) should answer some of them.

Re: Do you know any remedies for warts?

    Dozens !!!!!

Warts respond to anything, and I really mean “anything.”

Here’s a report from one of the world’s first hardcore scientists — a “philosophical advocate and practitioner of the scientific method during the scientific revolution.”

Sir Francis Bacon (1561-1626) wrote …

“I had from my childhood a wart upon one of my fingers; afterward, when I was about sixteen years old, being then at Paris, there grew upon both my hands a number of warts, at the least an hundred in a month’s space. The English ambassador’s lady, who was a woman far from superstition told me one day she would help me away with my warts; whereupon she got a piece of lard with the skin on, and rubbed the warts all over with the fat side; and amongst the rest that wart which I had from childhood, then she nailed the piece of lard, with the fat toward the sun, upon a post of her chamber window, which was to the south. The success was that within five weeks’ space all the warts were quite away, and that wart which I had so long endured for company. But at the rest I but did little marvel because they came in a short time, and might go away in a short time again, but the going away of that which had stayed so long doth yet stick to me.”

When it comes to the healing of warts, anything goes!

Obama’s nickname is Mr. Nuclear Renaissance because he’s involved in a plan to convert every cruise ship in the world to nuclear power.

Nuclear power hides behind the Green Mask of ecology and “sustainable development.”

Have you read all 100 pages of Agenda 21?

You may not even know about Agenda 2030.

The danger of Percocet (oxycodone plus acetaminophen) is its acetaminophen.

50 percent of ALL fatal liver fatalities in the U.S. are caused by acetaminophen — 25 percent unintentionally and 25 percent as suicide, acetaminophen being the most popular method of suicide in the U.S.

Richard G. “Bugs” Stevens (“Doctors issue warning about LED streetlights,” CNN, Jun. 21, 2016) wrote …

“An incandescent bulb has a color temperature of 2400K, which means it contains far less blue and far more yellow and red wavelengths. Before electric light, we burned wood and candles at night; this artificial light has a CT of about 1800K, quite yellow/red and almost no blue. What we have now is very different.”

“Too toxic to bodybuild, get more energy, earn the martial arts instead”…

    1. What were you toxic from? Trauma? Modern day living like us all? Or did he mean the drugs and alcohol?

    2. By the martial arts, does he mean just chi gung and tai chi or others eg karate, judo etc?

      1. What were you toxic from? Trauma? Modern day living like us all? Or did he mean the drugs and alcohol?

Mostly eating out of time, since Swami Nitty-Gritty’s definition of “toxic” is “out of time.”

But the others apply to me as well.

      2. By the martial arts, does he mean just chi gung and tai chi or others e.g. karate, judo etc?

He meant any discipline where the capacity to use energy is increased.

For example, Master Chen (Yun Xiang Tseng) teaches people to cultivate Qi as well as to gather it.

Do you have any advice for that time of the month for a woman during PMS. A blog or some insight on this would be cool. Should a woman take or avoid the cobalamin tonic. Do not skip breakfast. Is Energy acting on energy acting more at this time?

    Thank you, sir.

    • October 8, 2016 @ 8:46 pm Atom

PMS is aggravated by “The Usual Suspects” — estrogen, serotonin, cortisol, histamine, nitric acid, lactic acid, HDL cholesterol, polyunsaturated fatty acids, highly unsaturated fatty acids, complex carbohydrates (without saturated fat to detoxify them), phosphates, endotoxins (Brucella, Neisseria, Vibrio, etc.), fatigue poisons, blue light, etc.

Cognitive Shock (the Engram) is the “Keyser Söze” of this mob, so Body Dowsing (Mind Reading For the Millions) cuts through the clutter like a knife through hot butter.

Most cases of PMS involve a low thyroid condition … and, NO, iodine will NOT help (and will probably hurt).

Cobalamin Tonic is a natural Thyroid Booster due to its caffeine, magnesium, niacinamide, etc.

Energy acting on Energy is easier to tap into from 3:00-6:00 p.m.

When eating some vegetables like carrots and beets, the color comes back out and is not absorbed by the body, why is this ? It doesn’t happen with fruits

    • October 9, 2016 @ 2:43 pm Atom

It does happen with at least one fruit — cactus pear.

Cactus pear and beet contain the same nondegradable chemical — betacyanin.

The carotene in carrots absorbs poorly … and often blocks the action of vitamin A.

Carotene-like pigments accumulate in the irises of some people who can’t break it down due to heredity, cancer, diabetes, trauma, etc.
