OPEN PHONE FRIDAY

When Anything Goes…

And Usually Does!!!

Come play doctor with us!

Patrick talks with listeners and ponders emailed questions from the audience. Call in and participate on Fridays; we’d love to hear from you!

Show Highlights:

-To salt or not to salt, that is the question

-Patrick thanks everyone for all the nice emails and phone calls expressing their condolences over Bria’s trip to heaven

-Robert calls in from Houston to talk about dealing with grief and it’s 5 stages. He talks about having Hep C and several listeners write in with ideas for him

-Do we really need all the supplements? Patrick ponders this question

-Carol calls in to jump on the colostrum bandwagon. She’s loving it. She shares on the air a poem she wrote for Bria, Patrick’s Golden Retriever, who went to heaven this week

-Do our animals really understand us? We think so

-An antidote for Ebola? Atom Bergstrom wrote an interesting article about how the antidotes are usually found quite close to the poison. Makes sense because God is so cool!

-Listener question: I just took my first dose this morning, but I’m worried the evening dose may keep me up all night? I already have terrible insomnia. Would it be better to only take the morning dose, or double it up?

Also, regarding salt, I love it and have had lots of sea salt my whole life – and my blood pressure has always been low and good. Animals will find sources of salt in the wild. I can’t understand how it could be bad for us.

-We LOVED our visit with Hal Huggins this week. If you missed the interview, take time to listen. It’s worth spending the time just to hear one sentence of wisdom at the end which left us in tears. He is amazing

-A listener has a damp basement; any ideas for better air quality?

RIP Bria

    Patrick,

You can see the love emitting from both of you. It is amazing what a precious time “leaving” presents.

It is totally amazing what great friends pets become. Blessings and love to you both — and to your cat and your other dog and your chickens.

    Jackie

Robert Scott Bell interviewed Johnny Delirious at 1 hr. and 18 min. into his 5-31-2011 radio show. In 1992 Johnny had hepatitis A, B, and C, with only 4% liver functioning, the rest being scar tissue. His doctors gave him 8 months to live, and put him on a liver transplant list that was 14-16 months long.

Obviously that wasn’t going to work, so he turned to herbs like milk thistle, eating organic, and other simple things he talks about in his book “Hepatitis C Cured”. In May 1994 he had a 5.8 million viral load, and since August 1994 he’s had no viral load detectable.
