Red Light Times & Intensities
Re: WHEN is Red Light Time?
It depends.
Are you using red light to heal wounds?
Are you using it for measles? Chicken pox? Mumps?
Are you using it to reset circadian rhythms?

Are you using red light to heal wounds?
Exposing wounds to bright red incandescent light at sunrise, high noon, and sunset is ideal.
One or more red heat lamps are the highest choice.
Bright red light resets circadian rhythms in some people, so it’s best not to use it at night unless that’s your purpose.
Using red light at high noon is preceded by ten or twenty minutes of sunlight exposure, preferably in front of deciduous trees reflecting near-infrared light from their leaves.
Green chlorophyll shows up as bright white on infrared film.
<>
Are you using it for measles? Chicken pox? Mumps?
Very dim red light is necessary.
Seven-watt incandescent Christmas lights are the highest choice.
All other frequencies of light must be avoided 24 hours a day (except candlelight for meals to forestall depression).
<>
Are you using it to reset circadian rhythms?
Briefly exposing the eyes to natural sunrise and sunset is ideal.
Using dim yellow, orange, or red incandescent light at night doesn’t interfere with circadian rhythms.
Sixty-watt incandescent bulbs are the highest choice.
A f.lux program helps block green and blue light emanating from computer screens.
The program should be set for 24 hours a day, not just for the hours between sunset and sunrise.
Sunlight combines blue and red frequencies. Computer screens don’t.

WARNING: Anyone taking buckwheat sprouts or St. John’s wort should steer clear of yellow, yellow-green, and orange light.
Their poisonous effects are activated by frequencies between 540nm–610nm.
Green = 495nm–570nm
Yellow = 575nm–585nm
Orange = 590nm–620nm
<>
Both green and blue light reset circadian rhythms.
The “reset” is longer lasting with blue light than with green.

According to “Green Light Affects Circadian Rhythm,” Harvard Medical School Division of Sleep Medicine, May 12, 2010) …
“In the human eye there is a novel photoreceptor system, separate from the rods and cones used for vision, which detects light and is responsible for non-visual responses, such as resetting the internal circadian body clock, suppressing melatonin release and alerting the brain. These photoreceptors are located in the ganglion cell layer, where there is a specialized subset of cells which are specifically responsive to blue light. Previous research has indicated that these cells are the primary way in which light is detected for the non-visual responses. This new research from BWH [Brigham and Women’s Hospital] shows that cone photoreceptors, which are used for color vision and are most sensitive to green light, also play a role in eliciting non-visual responses.”

The leading contraindication for Red Light Photodynamic Therapy is a Change of Lifestyle Cognitive Shock.
Psychosomatic Shock always associates with color, and Change of Lifestyle Shocks include a change of residence, a new job, a change of marital status, a vacation, a Cosmic Vacation (a death), or even a birth (a Major Change of Lifestyle).
The highest choice for overcoming Cognitive Shocks is to CLEAR them, not to COLOR them.

How do you CLEAR a red light shock (besides getting over the new home or job)?

Nitric oxide is NOT generated by red light and near-infrared radiation.
Red light photodissociates nitric oxide.
It can also be photodissociated by specific ultraviolet radiation frequencies (bands near 191 and 183 nanometers).
Nitric oxide is a potent free radical involved in many diseases, including electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS).
Nitric oxide plays a major role in all diseases caused by electric and magnetic fields (EMFs), including autism.

“Thank God for pizza-eaters and joggers. They keep us reflexologists in business.”
And the absolute worst time to jog is in the early morning before eating breakfast.
