Sleep-Walking Through Life
Our subconscious minds glom onto the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
Most people sleep-walk around in a zombie-like trance, thinking their conscious minds are front and center, making all their decisions from Pure Practical Reason — the Kantian “reason that drives actions without any sense dependent incentives.”
Guess again.
<>
According to “Suggestion and suicide,” Science News, Sept. 23, 1978 …
“David P. Phillips of the University of California at San Diego found that in California automobile fatalities increase by 31 percent three days after a publicized suicide. The more the suicide is publicized, the more automobile fatalities increase.”
<>
Many people have never heard about …
copycat suicides
suicide contagion
suicide clusters
Werther effect
<>
Westerners have been taught (in school, for starters) to pay little heed to “psychology,” trivializing it to a minor player easily manipulated with drugs.
That’s why so many shrinks are employed by the government.
<>
According to Edward Bernays (who lived to 103) …
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.”
<>
What’s the antidote to such manipulation? A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
According to Mark Twain …
“Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.”
<>
According to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) …
“My God is a God of the Living, not of the dead. When you live, you got God the Devil chasing you up the nose.”

For those who can read left/right Body Language, grief shows on the right thumb of the guy and on the left thumb of the gal (with an additional “pointing the finger at” trauma on the left thumb of the gal) …

Apologies to both these movie personalities, but this Body Language example was just too perfect to pass up!

when you say who is a matter with us vs. what is the matter with us…what do we do about it? What is your best idea? also have you done a blog post with a “how to” mind over matter like your friend the one who flew you to Hawaii, and overcame impending death etc., etc .,his name escapes me? Seems like a good thing to know.
Thanks Ted

Without a doubt, my highest idea/choice is Body Dowsing (even for those in a so-called “coma”).
Learn to Body Dowse or find a Body Dowser in your area (if you can because there are so few of us; something we’re “down on the case” fixing to change).
For those who can’t Body Dowse or find a Body Dowser in their area, my blog entries and e-books are filled with other choices, e.g., Yawning, Pandiculation, Color Recycling, Life Flow, Prism-er of Love, etc.
I’ve also written about some of Greg Whiteley’s techniques (affirmations, etc.). Expect more in the future.
