Emanuel Revici, M.D. (Research In Physiology As Basis Of Guided Chemotherapy: With Special Application To Cancer, 1961) wrote …
“When a sample of ordinary venous blood is treated with a preparation of cholesterol or nonsaponifiable fractions, using the above mentioned technique [see pages 666 & 667] and after its separation from the cholesterol it is agitated with air or oxygen which is passed through these samples, the color becomes a bright vermilion red, and this persists for a long time. When the same venous blood is treated with a preparation of polyunsaturated fatty acids as mentioned above, the color becomes very dark, almost black purple. When air or oxygen is passed through these samples, the blood becomes lighter in color for only a short time, the darker color reappearing within a few minutes. One is immediately impressed by the similarity of the cholesterol-treated blood to arterial blood, while the fatty acid-treated blood is similar to venous blood, and especially to the color of venous blood in cases of shock.”
According to one point of view …
Cholesterol is anti-inflammatory, required 80 percent of the time.
Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) are pro-inflammatory, required 20 percent of the time.
Overall food content — on and in the ground, not in the sea — provides PUFAs in the following ratio …
Omega-3 compared to omega-6 fatty acids — 1 to 11 parts (not 1 to 1, as fancied by certain “experts” like Andrew Stoll and Susan Allport).
According to Dr. Revici (continued from his textbook) …
“The sterol-richer red cells appear capable of retaining for a longer period of time, the amount of oxygen which hemoglobin has fixed, while a rapid reduction in oxyhemoglobin is seen in the red blood cells when the polyunsaturated acids intervene. This led us to consider an intervention of these two groups of lipids in relation to the oxygen transportation by the red cells. Bearing in mind the fact that while cholesterol reduces cell permeability and polyunsaturated fatty acids increase it, an alternating intervention of these lipids seems to play a role in a better distribution of oxygen. The oxygen which is fixed by hemoglobin when the red blood cells have passed the lungs, is largely retained as such by the intervention of the sterols until they reach the point in the tissues where liberation of oxygen is necessary, this being favored now by the intervention of the fatty acids.”
What does this tell us about leaky gut syndrome?
Well, WHAT leaks into WHERE because of increased cell permeability?
The toxic abnormal PUFAs leak into the fluid matrix of the body — blood, lymph, bile, gastric juice, mucus, saliva, tears, and sweat.
The PUFAs prompted by all stages of clinical shock are too alkaline to be balanced by cholesterol.
So what acid is produced to balance this abnormal alkalinity?
Oxalic acid is produced — a little dab’ll do ya, but too much is toxic to mucus membranes and the upper respiratory tract.

Is Life Force acidic or alkaline?
The Animal Substance of bone is found in its gelatin.
Its Mineral Substance is found in its calcium salts (calcium phosphate and calcium carbonate).
Dissolving bone in hydrochloric acid dissolves the minerals but not the gelatin.
The gelatin left behind is flexible like Life — you can literally bend it and tie it into knots.

This entry and one of your comments raised a few questions:
Once the body begins to produce oxalic acid in response to an abundance of toxic abnormal PUFAs in the diet and an inflammatory condition begins in the GI tract due to the effects the oxalates have on their mucus membranes, will the removal of the PUFAs from the diet cause the cessation of oxalic acid production and resolve the GI tract mucus membrane infammation, or will something else be required to shut off the metabolic pathway of oxalic acid production?
If chickens are fed a soy-free diet, being allowed to pasture feed and given a minimum amount of non-GMO grain when that is not possible, will they produce eggs less likely to contribute to Yellow Fat Disease? What impact does a chicken’s diet have on their eggs in that aspect?
Besides supplementing with direct gelatin, how can we increase collagen levels? With what foods or supplements we stimulate the natural production of collagen with the body?

Keeping HUFAs (highly-unsaturated fatty acids) to an absolute minimum eventually stops chronic inflammation.
Inflammation is skyrocketed by estrogens, serotonin, prostaglandins, endorphins, nitric oxide, cortisol, PUFAs, HUFAs. etc.
Circadian Eating facilitates the “changing of the guard,” converting inflammatory biology into healthy biology.
Oxalic acid combined with PUFAs and HUFAs is the problem, not oxalic acid by or in itself.

“Of particular significance for the pathogenic role of these fatty acids is the fact […] that death appears to ensue when the conjugation of fatty acids reaches a certain value, which is approximately the same whether the animal has been traumatized, burned, irradiated or adrenalectomized, and independent of the fact that death occurs in a short time or several days. It corresponds to 14-17 mgm. of oxalic acid per gram of fatty acids. In other words …
1) oxalic acid was “in the wrong place at the wrong time for the wrong experience”
2) God help the HUFA-overloaded person if unlucky enough to get “traumatized, burned, irradiated or adrenalectomized”

The human body doesn’t need collagen in food because it makes its own — endogenous collagen.
As long as foods high in sulfur and vitamin C are in the diet and KETONES are avoided, the body is perfectly capable of making its own healthy, non-vulcanized (not cross-linked) collagen.

Given the large amount of PUFAs and HUFAs in the modern commercial market, it may explain how those unlucky enough to get “traumatized, burned, irradiated or adrenalectomized” are likely the ones displaying the symptoms and conditions described in your e-books “Yellow Fat Disease” and “Fish Oil is Snake Oil – The Biggest Supplement Scam”.
If: A) the chicken has such potent genetic heritage and B) we know an atomic bomb transformed an ordinary T-Rex into Godzilla, does that mean C) exposure to sufficient radiation would morph a humble Gallus gallus domesticus into the loquacious Foghorn J. Leghorn?
So does that mean people who choose to follow a ketogenic diet – which seems to be growing in popularity for therapeutic purposes – could possibly be compromising their internal production of collagen? If so, would incorporating the principles of Solar Timing or other practices like cycling on-and-off the ketogenic diet reduce the impact of compromised collagen production?

It’s allegedly a hipper way of saying “hang a U-ie.”

supposedly omega 3s increase your spatial coordination (perception) which seems like a yin-property (outward flowing). while i love my coconut oil and butter they also seem to have a subtly blunting effect? perhaps the more closed cell actually leads to a certain shutdown in consciousness?
i can’t help but feel one can’t have both one and the other, and that cellular health maybe is not spiritual health, while spiritual health might not be social health and so on to infinity. i feel yours and adanos rhetorics have been large catalysts to this general notion.
an entire on the side: during a very spiritual phase of my life i regularly listened the rapture song “killing” – about the shallowness of dj personas (“killing with flange (the sound effect) and with tape (cassette) and with (jimi i guess) hendrix”) but valid on a deeper level nonetheless with “i am the one who can not ever see me ’cause i am the one who can not help myself” alongside the lines about killing (it). maybe this death-mentality actually catalyzes much needed apoptosis when delivered to the mind at the right time? i don’t think we’ll ever know. :)

Yang is outward (centrifugal) and Yin is inward (centripetal).
What’s confusing about this in the human body is the left side is Yang and the right side is Yin when blood flow is considered, while the left side is Yin and the right side is Yang when magnetic fields are considered — unless you study Macrobiotics where it’s reversed (and there are some exceptions to the rule(s).
I usually stick to Western terminology although both acupuncture and Macrobiotics are correct — Asian therapy is just more inscrutable in all its Yin-Yang reversals, counter-reversals, and counter-counter-reversals.
Structurally, a man is centrifugal like an ejaculating penis, and a woman is centripetal like an assimilating vagina.
Not knowing is easier for the Oriental mind than the Occidental — Western scientists are compelled to pin butterflies on display boards.
