Swami Ananda Saraswati of New Dehli, India, ordained Adano Ley a swami in 1969 and gave him the name Swami Nityananda Saraswati.
Swami Ananda considered giving Adano the name Adyananda Saraswati before he realized only God warranted such a title.
Adyananda means “One Eternal Now Bliss.”
Or “First Bliss.”
Or “First Spirit.”
Swami Ananda said, “I can’t call you that because only God in Adyananda.”
Nityananda means “Ever New Bliss.”
Or “Eternal Bliss.”
Or “Bliss of the Eternal.”
Or “Always In Bliss.”
Adano preferred the name Swami Nitty-Gritty because he always “got down to the real nitty-gritty.”
He always got down to the actual physics of the universe.
He taught, “Evolution is ever new models of your cell because of its untapped potential.”
When Adano and his wife Margaret Berry walked into a room at Southern Methodist University in Dallas to attend Swami Ananda Saraswati’s lecture, the swami said to him, “I’m going to make you a swami right now!”
Margaret thought, “What?! We’re just married and Adano’s going to become a celibate swami? Is he going to wrap himself in a bed sheet and run off to India?”
But Swami Ananda turned to Margaret and said, “I now pronounce you Swamini Gargi Vata Saraswati!”
(There’s very few householders in the Saraswati Order.)
Gargi Vata means “Wise Spirit.”
Swamini Gargi Vata was a Taurus, so it made perfect astrological sense when I once heard her exclaim …
“Adano may be the brains but I’M THE NECK!”

Adano drank so much carrot juice when he had cancer his wife Margaret exclaimed, “Adano, you look like a carrot, you smell like a carrot, and you shit like a carrot too!”

Re: How can I get over the flu faster?
Avoid IRON completely and eat iron-blockers like soy, tea, and coffee.
Iron is a favorite food of most viruses and bacteria.
The bacterium Lactobacillus acidophilus is an exception to the rule.
It loves COBALT and MANGANESE.

One of my most numinous dreams was me earning $14 a week delivering jars of mayonnaise to Abraham Lincoln at his Hollywood mansion. Calling Doctor Freud!
