The child was all over the place, a human junior tornado.
I told my client (let’s call her Flora), “I’m going to show you how children are directly connected to the mother. In just a few minutes, when you’re relaxed, your child will fall asleep. But first he’ll feel threatened and resist and try to do a belly-flop on your abdomen, so be prepared.”
“Really? Why?”
“It’s where you’re connected, at the umbilicus, the so-called Silver Cord. The parents and their child are a circuit.”

Sure enough, Flora’s little boy leapt into the air trying for a belly-flop, but she was prepared and caught him.
After three tries, he curled up on the carpet and fell into a deep sleep, allowing me to continue Recycling Flora.

A trauma is something to be “cleared,†not something to be “colored.â€
To be clear is to be “trans-parent,†swapping out the biography of parental programming for the biology of environmental clarity.
