“We’re the last but not the least. Last is first, first is last. We are first in quality, but environment is quantity. The dolphin came first and can never be greater than the last – you. The porpoise can be the middle finger, important, but not the thumb.â€
The Body Language of the thumb exhibits polarity in three phases …
Positive, Negative, Neutral (Yes, No, Maybe)
NEGATIVE (NO)
Thumbs tucked under the fingers indicates Presence (Ether) being under the domination of the Four Elements (Air, Fire, Water, Earth).

“If you punch a wall with the thumb like this [under the fingers], you’ll break your hand. If you put your thumb over your fingers, it’s the martial arts fist. Now you’ll break the wall, not your hand.â€
NEUTRAL (MAYBE)
Thumbs extended out from the fingers indicates Presence escaping the domination of the Four Elements.

“The hitchhiking gesture is thumbs up. The hitchhiker is saying, ‘Take me a little further down the road. Give me more life.’â€

“The opposite position to the ‘thumb-closed-in-by-the-fist’ gesture is the thumb that stretches far out from the palm.
Forming an exact right angle with the index finger, it signifies full consciousness of one’s ego. If the immobility of the thumb is characteristic of the anthropoid’s and the imbecile’s thumb, then the thumb’s right angle position in the human hand symbolizes the highest achievements of evolution.â€
POSITIVE (YES)
Thumbs tucked over the fingers is the martial arts fist.
It indicates Presence having dominion over the Four Elements.

We love you, we love you, we love you, our dear Elementals we do.
All beings of Air, Fire, and Water, and beings of Earth, we love you.
I am Presence, free all Elementals, the great, the small.
I am Presence, through them give protection to all.
Protection against what?
AIR – tornado, hurricane, etc.
FIRE – forest fire, lightning, etc.
WATER – cloudburst, blizzard, flash flood, etc.
EARTH – earthquake, landslide, rockfalls, etc.

The “Thumbs Up” gesture is ubiquitous here in New Zealand.
According to The Rough Guide to New Zealand, Sept. 2012 …
“… the archetypal Kiwi personality is rooted in the desire to make a better life in a unique and sometimes unaccommodating land. New Zealanders are inordinately fond of stories of plucky little Kiwis overcoming great odds and succeeding, perceiving the NZ persona to be rooted in self-reliance, inventiveness and bravery, tempered by a certain self-deprecating humour. Over-achieving ‘tall poppies’ are routinely cut down.”
… and …
“New Zealanders are refreshingly relaxed, low-key and free of pretension, and you’re likely to be greeted with an informal ‘gidday!’, ‘Kia ora!’ (Hi) or ‘Kia ora, bro!’ (Hi, mate). Dress standards are as informal as the greetings, and unless you’re on business or have a diplomatic function to attend you can leave your suit and tie at home; even the finest restaurants only require smart attire.”
