Vitamins D2 Through D7

Medical Police State “experts” assure you that you can take any amount of vitamin D3 without consequence.
According to Wikipedia (last edited Feb. 4, 2022) …
“Calcitriol (Vitamin D3) analogues have been proposed for use as antitumor agents. Studies on vitamin D3 have shown inhibition of cell proliferation in prostate cancer, but high doses of vitamin D3 result in hypercalcemia. The effects of vitamin D5 on prostate cancer have also been studied, and unlike vitamin D3, vitamin D5 does not cause hypercalcemia while inhibiting tumor cell proliferation. The most researched analogue of vitamin D5 as an antitumor agent is 1α-Hydroxyvitamin D5.”
So, am I recommending D5 just because D3 attacks your kidneys? Nope!

Are you ready to be “blinded by science?” So many people ARE.
Shiro Komba, Eiichi Kotake-Nara, & Wakako Tsuzuki (“Simultaneous Synthesis of Vitamins D2, D4, D5, D6, and D7 from Commercially Available Phytosterol, β-Sitosterol, and Identification of Each Vitamin D by HSQC NMR,” MDPI, Jun. 6, 2019) wrote …
“The vitamin D familyis known as vitamins D2 {ergocalciferol or (5Z,7E,22E)-(3S)-9,10-seco-5,7,10(19),22-ergostatetraen-3-ol}, D3 {cholecalciferol or (5Z,7E)-(3S)-9,10-seco-5,7,10(19)-cholestatrien-3-ol}, D4 {22,23-dihydroercalciol or (5Z,7E)-(3S)-9,10-seco-5,7,10(19)-ergostatrien-3-ol), D5 {(5Z,7E)-(3S)-9,10-seco-5,7,10(19)-stigmastatrien-3-ol}, D6 {(22E)-(24R)-ethyl-22,23- didehydrocalciol or (5Z,7E,22E)-(3S)-9,10-seco-5,7,10(19),22-stigmastatetraen-3-ol}, and D7 {(5Z,7E,24R)-(3S)-9,10-seco-5,7,10(19)-ergostatrien-3-ol} and contributes to important biological functions after converting to active forms. Although these vitamin D analogs differ only in the structure of their side chains, they have different activities in vivo. For example, antirachitic activity using vitamins D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, and D7 showed a relative effect of 100:100:75:2:1:10, respectively. In addition, active forms of vitamin D3 are used as anti-osteoporosis drugs, but hypercalcemia due to excessive intake has been reported as a side effect. Active forms of vitamins D4 and D7 have been reported to be effective in improving this side effect. Therefore, it is very important to compare each vitamin D to examine its functions. Although methods for synthesizing each vitamin D analog from phytosterols have been established, it is necessary to obtain all vitamin D analogs using order to compare and analyze the biological functions of each vitamin D analog in detail.”
So, am I recommending D2, D4, D5, D6, and D7 just because D3 attacks your kidneys? Nope!

Yes, I’m repeating myself, but not for you. It’s only for the benefit of all those Sheep-Bots out there trapped inside the Matrix.

It’s interesting how people worry about radioactive iodine-131, which has a radioactive half-life of 8 days while other radioacive elements have half-lives of hundreds, thousands, and millions of years.
