Panspermia is the theory that life on Earth came from outer space.

It’s not a theory of how life began. It’s a theory of how life was distributed.

“If you yawn in the presence of a carbon-based being, he will yawn too. If you yawn and the other person drools, he’s a silicon-based being. If he sniffs when you yawn, he’s sulfur-based. If he sighs, he’s methane-based.”

Human beings have “interbred” with these various beings …

1) Carbon-based beings have much in common with the Root Plexus.

2) Ditto silicon-based beings with the Sacral Plexus.

3) Ditto sulfur-based beings with the Solar Plexus.

4) Ditto methane-based beings with the Cardiac Plexus.

Sulfate-reducing bacteria, also known as SRBs, have a sulfate-dependent metabolism and are collectively known as the Archaea, the “ancient ones.”

They usually live in the sulfur-rich water near deep-sea volcanic vents.

Various sulfate-associated clams, mussels, limpets, and tube worms also live by these volcanic vents.

The sulfate-reducer Desulfovibrio aespoeensis is a typical sulfate-reducing bacteria.

So is Pyrococcus furiosus, another SRB that uses an enzyme containing iron, sulfur, tungsten, and molybdenum, that allows it to thrive at extremely high temperatures.

This enzyme is called aldehyde ferredoxin oxidoreductase.

SRBs breathe sulfate instead of oxygen, and survive by chemosynthesis rather than photosynthesis.

The “ancient ones” are mostly hyperthermophiles, which means they love heat, and sulfur is the prime substitute for sunlight in the deep-sea vent ecosystem.

Blue-green algae, and the rhodoplasts in red algae such as agar evolved from blue-green algae, are both probably ancient mutations of sulfur bacteria.

This mutated sulfur bacteria emitted oxygen into Earth’s atmosphere when it began extracting hydrogen from water and hydrogen sulfide.

Distant cousins of the “methane-based beings” sometimes live among the Archaea by the same undersea hydrothermal vents – these are the methanogens, which are methane-producing bacteria.
