Will the Real “I” Please Stand Up! #1
Re: If you had thirty minutes with the “two unnamed Silicon Valley billionaires” who are allegedly major backers of this research [that this world of existence is some form of elaborate simulation like the one in “The Matrix”], what would you tell them?
Zero or infinite minutes is free of The Matrix, so my very meeting with them would be a simulation.
The Greek mathematician who conceived of “Zero” was supposedly drowned by Pythagoreans,
There is One God, saith Western monotheism.
There was no room for the mathematical expression of God as Zero in either Hellenistic philosophy or in Christianity.
Charles Seife (Zero: The Biography of a Dangerous Idea, 2000) wrote …
“So it was not ignorance that led the Greeks to reject zero, nor was it the restrictive Greek number-shape system. It was philosophy. Zero conflicted with the fundamental philosophical beliefs of the West, for contained within zero are two ideas that were poisonous to Western doctrine. Indeed these concepts would eventually destroy Aristotelian philosophy after its long reign. These dangerous ideas are the void and the infinite.”
According to Elon Musk (discussing virtual reality) …
“So then what are the odds that we’re in base reality, isn’t it one in a billion?”
He continued …
“Obviously, this feels real, but it seems unlikely to be real.”
Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and “Spirit Molecule” crusaders (DMT and ayahuasca enthusiasts) are confounding consciousness with intellect.
Timothy Leary was decoyed by both these interpretations of consciousness, simulations of the Third Chakra, or Lower Mental Body, the subject of my e-book, Color Recycling: A Prism-er of the Hues & Whos.
Consciousness is beyond intelligence, artificial or actual.
What is “real” is merely electrical signals interpreted by the brain/mind, separate from “Consciousness Without an Object” (Franklin Merrell-Wolff’s book title).
“There is no spoon,” says the little boy to Neo in the 1999 movie, The Matrix.
Franklin Merrell-Wolff (Transformations in Consciousness: The Metaphysics and Epistemology, 1995) wrote …
“The turning of the Light of consciousness toward its source does not mean that the subject or I is transformed into an object. If the I were an object, then it must be an object for another subject, with the result that the supposedly objectified I really is no more than an abstract construct for the real I, which now is in the position of the new subject. It is utterly impossible for the I to be an object, unless consciousness attains a transcendental position in a more comprehensive Self from which it is possible to look down upon something like a discrete self that is a reflection of the former.”
Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) said …
“You don’t HAVE a soul. You ARE soul. If this immortal soul is taken care of by a mortal body, I think you got a lousy deal.”

Yellow Fat Disease / Biological Aging / Senescence
Ray Peat (“Membranes, plasma membranes, and surfaces,” 2006-2016) wrote …
“If you want to use a polyunsaturated oil as a drug, it is worthwhile to remember that the ‘essential fatty acids’ suppress metabolism and promote obesity; are immunosuppressive; cause inflammation and shock; are required for alcoholic liver cirrhosis; sensitize to radiation damage; accelerate formation of aging pigment, cataracts, retinal degeneration; promote free radical damage and excitoxicity; cause cancer and accelerate its growth; are toxic to the heart muscle and promote atherosclerosis; can cause brain edema, diabetes, excessive vascular permeability, precocious puberty, progesterone deficiency, skin wrinkling and other signs of aging.”

“Sat, Chit, Ananda is existence, consciousness, bliss. Sat, Chit, and Ananda is a three-legged stool. Remove any leg, and you can’t sit on it.” — Swami Nitty-Gritty
