FHA is dire straights.The chief executive of Goldman Sachs (GS.N), which has attracted widespread media attention over the size of its staff bonuses, believes banks serve a social purpose and are doing “Gods work”.
United Commercial Bank, a big San Francisco bank with branches in China, was closed by state regulators on Friday and its banking operations were acquired by East West Bancorp Inc, also active in both nations.
